Fab puddings

We go here regularly in the summer usually on a nice day we sit outside and have pudding. Would highly recommend.

In the early years this seasonal restaurant served original, quality food at realistic prices. Last season there was a noticeable drop off in all areas and previous regular visits are now much reduced, hoping former standards will return to what was a favourite.

On a sunny day it is well worth the drive to Lawrenny to sit at the outdoor area and watch the boats sailing up and down the river. The tea rooms serve a variety of food and drinks with a great choice. The staff are very friendly and efficient and even on busy days you are not kept waiting too... More

Always have a great lunch here. I can't comment on other dishes as I have only ever had crab. Why change? I will be glad when they reopen

If the weather is fine, opt for sitting outside. Inside there is an array of tasty treats in the way of cakes and puddings; the banoffee pie is the best I have ever tasted. They sell local produce and if you like their salad dressing, you can buy a bottle to take home. The crab is wonderful and fresh and the... More

I love this place & have visited several times. The coffee is excellent & there's always a great selection of cakes. My advice is: arrive for coffee, walk it off on the delightful circular walk (maps available) then back for lunch. I can recommend the crab sandwiches but there's also some interesting hot offerings, all served with a smile. Looking... More

Lovely little cafe ran by very friendly ladies. We had cake and tea and coffee and sat outside overlooking the quay, which has a lovely view of the river and moored boats. I looked at the lunch options for another visit the y looked simple but inviting. This is a bit out of the way but worth finding because it... More

Wonderful setting on a nice day. But in my opinion the food and service has diminished slightly over the past few years. Salad was a little lifeless and although the staff at the counter were efficient and friendly, we found the waitresses a bit brash and uncaring. Other than that, some good produce, very clean and dog friendly. I'll visit... More

We love it here. The service is fast and good. The food is lovely especially the leek and cheese tart and the amazing key lime pie! We sat outside (due to dog) and the view is special and the atmosphere is so peaceful. it was busy for a Monday but we didn't have to wait.
