Lovely cosy bar/restaurant. Very dark and full of atmosphere. Lovely for a winters day. Might be a bit gloomy on a summers day. Food was fabulous. Good portions and freshly cooked. A la carte looked pricey but we ordered from the lunch menu which I felt was average prices. Will definitely go again.

Every holiday I try to take my family for a special meal. The Plantagenet seemed like the ideal place. The exterior is supremely attractive like something from Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter films. The inside is just as attractive obviously playing on the medieval building that when you walk over the threshold you find your self in. Our table... More

We ate in the Plantagenet during a recent stay in Tenby and we had one of the best lunches we have had in a long time. The fish was very fresh and well cooked. The service, along with the food, were excellent but the portions were huge. It was not cheap but well worth the cost and should we be... More

A fantastic restauant, fantastic food and wine, great setting, sometimes hard to read, the hand written menu in certain areas with dim lighting, but thats a sign of my age!!! Just take a deep breath when the bill arrives, but its the one place my parents speciafically ask to go to when they visit tenby.

We went to this restaurant on the night we got engaged, my now fiancé booked this as it was my favourite restaurant in Tenby. However we were pretty disappointed with our experience that night. The food was very good but the service was poor. My fiancé was without a drink for nearly an hour, i had to get up 3... More

We (a group of eight) walked from Saundersfoot to Tenby and were struggling to find somewhere for lunch/beers as most of the pubs were full with Rugby fans watching a Wales match. We then stumbled on this place. We were sent downstairs where we ordered food and drink. The crab sandwiches was very tasty and we had a lovely pint... More

We decided to eat here whilst looking around several restaurants in Tenby, we were lucky to book for a hour later booking, and were very well accommodated. The food was brilliant, the portions were very large, I had the scallops to start and the lamb, my girlfriend had mussels and the seabass. It was a very nice comfortable atmosphere, a little... More

On a short break in this lovely area, we booked ahead at what seemed to be the better of the fine-dining restaurants in Tenby. We were not disappointed. The setting in this historic building is unique. Wish we had realised beforehand that there was a bar area in the cellar to have enjoyed a pre-meal drink! The ambiance, although busy,... More

Stayed in Tenby for three nights. Tried twice to eat here, closed for both nights. Couldn't find any information about opening times. Rang and looked on their site. Better information would be beneficial
