Having had many a Sunday dinners here (best around in our opinion) we decided to give the evening meals a go. We have been to a lot of 'posh' restaurants, with high prices ands big names, but have to say the meal we had at the Plantagenet trumps them all! I had the fillet steak and my wife had the... More

We had two courses from the fish menu. Mariniere sauce with the mussells was good and the scallops were fine although only warm and served with a pea puree which tasted like cold mushy peas. Sea bass helpings were big although not well presentated in as much as one could tell in such a dimly lit restaurant (I like to... More

We love the decor here and although we didn't have a booking, they managed to squeeze us in. The food was delicious, but slightly overpriced! We would return as the whole experience was lovely.

This restaurant was recommended to us but we found it a massive disappointment. There was a strange smell in the restaurant. The fish we had was cooked nicely but the rest of the meal wasn't great and the sauces that came on our dishes tasted like they had come out of a jar. For the price of the food we... More

I had an excellent time!! Amazing atmosphere and decoration, very friendly staff, great seafood menu! I visited the restaurant last Monday with my colleagues. Two of us are chefs and one is a restaurant owner. We are quite fussy when we go out and usually I am the most annoying one, as I always speak out when I don't like... More

The Decor, atmosphere, staff, all excellant, our table in the big old fireplace, and yes i mean in it....was amazing, then the food though pricey was worth every penny, the platter could do with better presentation....but that aside really great....

Cramped conditions for a party of eight. The chairs were tight behind the people sitting behind us.The room was dimly lit, hard to see the menu or your food. The place was busy service slow.the food average and very overpriced. My fillet steak was not medium rare but medium raw!I sent it back it returned inedible. My starter was Calamari over cooked and... A lovely atmosphere. Lovely candle lit tables. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is very interesting and so is the art and decor. There was a lot of choice on the menu, it took me a while to decide because it all sounded so good. There was a good choice of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. I ordered... More

My family and I regularly visit Tenby however it was the first time we visited this hidden gem. It is tucked away next to the tudor marachants house. We visited on a Thursday evening and entered the restaurant about 7.30. We hadn't made a reservation however the lovely, friendly staff found a table for us immediately and even better, it... More
