Hidden down a narrow alley this amazing restaurant draws you to look inside with its lighting and characteristics, Whilst entering the downstairs bar ( the quay room ) you are welcomed with a warm and general greeting,The bar is well stocked and has a cosy feeling to the place with unusual features on the wall.On the upper floor is the... I can't praise this adorable little restaurant enough, it's a really special, intimate venue and the food is exceptional. The specials menus are hand written and I believe they change regularly due to the availability of the fishes on offer ( as fresh as you can get ) regular menu has meat and vegetarian choices. Dessert menu - also hand... More

Really excellent food here. Yes, it may be expensive as other reviews quite rightly point out, but in my opinion it's well worth the money. This is the second year we've visited The Plantagenet during our usual late summer Tenby break, we have always been sceptical about the price but for two years running now we've had truly excellent food,... It's years since I was in this charming old place and I was thrilled to be back. Tucked away down a tiny side street that leads to the Tudor house you need to know where it is if you haven't been before. I started with scallops and followed it with a whole lobster, grilled with garlic and lemon. At £32... More

Lovely place. Very quirky decor. This was our second visit and we'd raved enough about it for my mum to come and join us this time. But the prices really are shocking. You'll struggle to find a starter under a tenner, and the mains are £25 on average. It's tasty food, but it does NOT warrant such a high price... More

My husband and I visited on a Monday night for our anniversary. We were given a lovely seat near the window overlooking the alley way. The restaurant is set over several levels with two of the tables situated in a huge fireplace. The toilets are definitely worth a visit as they are very quaint and traditional. Service was very good... More

Lovely building, shame about the food. Difficult to read the menu in the low light; try a larger type face; little point in the nice hand written menus if customers can't read them. I had rack of Welsh lamb which was tender and nicely cooked. Unfortunately it was then drowned in a (commercial?) gravy, which tainted everything on the plate.... More

Good selection of fish dishes. A very well prepared and tasty meal. Friendly and speedy service. Yes a little pricey, yes very low lighting but we enjoyed it and felt that it was value for money.

Well it's Monday in Tenby, went to this place at seven, for dinner. To be told a table would available at eight. Waiting in bar till twenty five past eight, table was ready, orders taken at 20.35 then waited till 21.20. Walked out in disgust. Very expensive would not go there again.

Dimly lit so that the expensive menu doesn't shock you straight away. Shoddy service. Waited 1.5 hours and still didn't get fed. Walked out in disgust.
