We were staying locally and were recommended this pub by the landlady. It was around half 7ish on a bank holiday Monday and the place was fully booked. Instead of turning us away the landlord asked us to wait half an hour and he'd see what he could do. Anyway, after around 20 mins he managed to squeeze us in... More

Ate here with the family earlier this week and had an enjoyable meal. The staff were efficient and very friendly. Our toddler's food came really quickly - always a bonus since hungry children can be fractious. His fish fingers were actually very nice goujons. Our food, 2 steaks, fish and chips and tagiatelli were well cooked and nicely presented. All... More

Arrived without a booking, table offered with a 20 minute wait which was only to be expected but unfortunately we were forgotten. We reminded the staff who went into a panic as apparently the kitchen had just gone past last orders (9pm.) This was rectified and we were seated and able to place an order. Food was fine for a... We ate here on the second night of our holiday, expecting a good quality meal. However, the chicken was over cooked and the 'macaroni and cheese with leek' did not taste of either cheese nor leek. I ordered a fish and chips meal and felt very let down when 4 little fish bites were delivered along with a scattering of... More

Dont forget to book a table during your visit. We stopped in St Florence Tenby and this pub was the place to eat ! Great friendly service, super fresh home made food, we went one evening and the place was packed ,so we were mad that we hadn't booked. Dog friendly too, plus a little play area outside for the... We called in here without booking and asked if they had any free tables, we were shown to a Reserved table. The food was really lovely and the service was very good. There is a good choice on the menu and the fish was really nice.

Went on a Sunday evening. Nearly left as all spare tables showing as reserved but waitrose showed us to a table. The food was good. My wife particularly enjoyed her steak and sauce. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Inn restaurant recommended by Hotel we were in nearby so booked and went for dinner. Enjoyed the Worthington Cream and Guinness and ordered but had to wait a long time for actual food, although waitress apologised as there was a shortage of staff in the kitchen, and provided complimentary olives and bread. Starters were very nice but then had to... More
