Fabulous food and adequate accommodation.

Booked a night here last minute. We arrived and the chap was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated and the bed was nice and comfortable. A couple of houskeeping issues which have meant I couldn't give five stars were the bin in the bathroom had dirty nappies in from the... read more

A regular choice now for Sunday Lunch and the odd evening meal, food consistently tasty and cooked well, friendly staff, child friendly and cosy atmosphere. The new restaurant section works well, all in all they seem to be getting it spot on for a country pub.

My family and I stayed here and ate at the restaurant one of the nights. The menu is small but varied and all seemed completely homemade. The food was fantastic, reasonably price and freshly prepared. A good wine list which we made use of with a very nice bottle red which was a decent price. The restaurant is a lovely... More

Where to start... Greeted by a friendly member of staff and asked to pay the bill before being shown to my room, I was then shown to my room. We arrived at the room and I was told it was the budget room therefore I had a separate bathroom. The door to the room looked like somebody had attacked it... More

From its external appearance, and from the prices on its menu, I was expecting something rather more special. We ate in a poorly furnished extension between the bar with its sports screenings and the games room with its shrieking children running about. The price suggested neat, helpful waiting staff instead of perfunctory people in flip flops. The food was ok... More

We visited this Pub for the 2nd time , it was taken over by new management in May 2015.! It's ok but and not up to the standard previously yet. However we a little work will be ok. Young waiter and waitress need training on how to respond to customer questions. Chef needs to understand that burnt lamb patties are... More

Called in here around 3pm one afternoon and ate off the lunch menu, great food. I had pie of the day, it was delicious. Great pub food, really good value for money. Staff very friendly too. Set in a lovey little village with great beer garden, would defiantly recommend.

Myself, my daughter and 2 young grandchildren dined at the restaurant on the last day of our holiday. It is a very attractive Inn in a beautiful village . Very comfortable and the staff very nice.. The food excellent , I started with Leek and potato soup, my daughter had scallops. Then a Rib eye steak . Real chips and... More

We called in at the parsonage Farm Inn on the off chance for a meal, we hadn't booked and was delighted when the lady at the bar said yes. We were shown to our table by the waiter and given menus. We noticed that it read a' la carte, and then realised that it had changed hands, but this didn't... More
