Wonderful hone cooked food, excellent service, great value for money, was just a little disappointed when we returned on our second visit to discover they had ran out of the lovely homemade coleslaw. Highly recommended

Had to return my ice cream as it was soft and my daughters lemon sorbet had bits of chocolate and strawberry in it even though I had asked them to use a clean scoop as she is allergic to strawberries. A dose of food poisoning awaits if you eat here. I don't for one second believe they have a 5... More

Nice spot to have a coffee or a light lunch. Good value and pleasant helpful staff. Only had hot drinks, but the food other people were eating certainly looked appetizing. So good we visited it every day during our 4 day stay.

We decided to grab a quick breakfast in the cafe bistro today. The service here was friendly and charming, the coffee was made with care and the bacon sandwich a definite winner!!! Would happily recommend! It has a lovely alfresco area outside and was great to see the chef making fresh scones in the open plan kitchen... Lovely touch guys!... More

This cafe provides excellent service and the food is delicious. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make changes to the menu when requested. I had the best cappuccino I have ever had that was just about perfect, and it had a real coffee taste unlike some of the weak ones I've had elsewhere. I... More

We have visited the bistro cafe regularly for several years, always had excellent service, pleasant staff and very helpful. Owner always makes us very welcome. Especially as my wife is in a wheelchair

lured in here by the offer of £2 for a coffee and cake which was admittedly smallish but tasted lovely and homemade and the coffee was quite nice so was great value and I was able to sit outside as it was warm ... When I took my cup and plate back in after eating the assistant seemed very grateful... More

My wife and I visited The Bistro Cafe in November last year. TripAdvisor didn't have The Bistro Cafe as a restaurant as it has been renamed so I had to wait for them to add it before posting this review. The interior isn't that welcoming on a cold November's morning, but we had already sat at Dollys Cafe and walked... More
