We popped in here first thing before a trip to Lundy, Mick and Jill were very friendly with helpful tips and information about the area, we had their 2 for £10 breakfast offer which was delicious and definitely good value for money. Would recommend.

Having seen a notice in the cafe advertising Sunday lunches, we decided to book the following day. We were not disappointed, it was delicious! We had roast pork with all the trimmings, the food was extremely tasty and nice and hot, and the service excellent. The owners are very friendly and we will not hesitate to go to the cafe... More

Very disappointed, my son and I visited for breakfast. Firstly the order was taken in correctly, secondly I had a fly dead in my fried egg. The owner said she would take money off the bill because of the incorrect order. This did not happen I did not mention the fly, having lost my appetite. I recommend you try the... More

We visited the cafe twice during our stay in Ilfracombe, once for breakfast and once for cream tea both were faultless! Clearly Mike and Jill go to a lot of effort to put good quality ingredients on every plate and it shows. All the staff are friendly and welcoming with a lovely relaxed atmosphere to this fantastic cafe. Thank you... More

Whilst wadering around Ilfracombe on a sunday lunchtime looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch, we spotted the 'Manor house cafe'. With a party of 6 adults, a tennager, 2 children and a baby the tables were arranged and we were very comfortably seated and nothing was too much trouble, it didn't feel awkward at all as we all pilled... I arrived in Ilfracombe on a Saturday morning with my 3 kids and had a couple of hours to kill before we could check into our holiday park. We happened upon Mick and Jill's little cafe and went in for brunch. What a gem ! It is such a refreshing change from the normal freezer to microwave rubbish you get... More

We popped in for a quick lunch and instead were tempted by the "afternoon tea". We had a sandwich made on lovely door-stop bread with off the bone ham, a home made scone each with jam and local Devonshire clotted cream and a pot of tea. The food was delicious and just what we'd been looking for on our holiday.... More

I felt like eating at my aunty's house. Jill and Mick looked after us very well. If you are looking for a chain restaurant, this is not your place. If you look for a well run family restaurant, the Manor House is your place. Food is fresh and abundant. Contrarily to what another reviewer said, having the chef sitting in... More
