I eat a lot of Fish & Chips! Think I am thus qualified to know when it is good or bad. I had to go to Ilfracombe on the 12th March and it was disappointing to see this was only one of two shops on the front which were open but the locals knew to go. The fish was absolutely... More

Had a day in Ilfracombe and went in here for something to eat at lunchtime. Plenty of seating inside, decent prices and lovely food. I do alot of travelling all over the world and whenever I'm away and see a local chippy, I always go in and see how they all compare, and this one didn't disappoint. Could write a... More

We ate here one evening during a short break in Ilfracombe. We had fish and chips which were excellent, however the service was a little slow, but friendly.

Family friendly and good food. We particularly like the crispy chips and the fish is good too. Dining in is great to make more of an event of your trip here and you get a full selection of sauces to accompany your meal. We will be back and recommend the fryer to other customers too.

Ate here whilst on a day out visiting ilfracombe. Decided to eat here as there was a queue and it was down in the centre of ilfracombe so we could take away and eat outside. Good sized portions of freshly cooked fish and chips. Nice batter and plenty of chips and the fillet of fish was well cooked and of... More

A lovely spotless chip shop /restaurant with quality tasty produce. A bit pricy but worth it. The views are amazing staff friendly and quick service. We had the fisher mans combo fish chips mushy peas and a drink for £7.45.

Good food, friendly staff & a fantastic view of Hillsborough Point (I think it is called). Huge windows, & mirrored all around, so even those facing inward can share the panorama. I had the Fisherman's Combo - a taste of everything! Mrs. & lad had the Cod fillet, which was huge. Our finicky little girl was even catered for with... More
