Very cosy pub and wonderful atmosphere

Really like this pub, whilst the other reviewers are correct it is dark inside and not that easy to find its full of charm fun and character. Lee is a beautiful village and the pub has an open mike night on a Friday, amazingly talented singers. The food was fine, my wife said average but I really... read more

Came here as it is dog friendly-and were impressed with the ambiance of the place. Food was good and we were lucky to be entertained by some local musicians -which added a friendly atmosphere. Really a most enjoyable evening and would highly recommend a visit.

I have visited this pub each time i have been to this area and love rock pooling with the kids and dog in the bay. The beer that they produce on the premises is very good. I had the ploughmans to eat wiitch is a very easy meal but they went the extra mile with great home made bread. The... More

The open mike nights here on a Friday are always fun to come along to and very friendly! The home cooked food is always yummy - I had a very tasty dahl soup recently! This pub is situated in a beautiful part of Devon too and has a lovely garden to sit out in.

This pub has an opportunity to be brilliant with its situation. The only pub in one of the most picturesque villages in North Devon. So let's start with the good bits. The food is well cooked and they allow dogs. It's a pity they don't know the difference between a tart and a sponge in the puddings and surely in... More

Lovely rural Devonshire pub - so rural it took us a bit to find it! Rustic and charming and very reasonably priced for food which came quickly and was delicious and filling. Only a 15 minute drive from Ilfracombe and well worth the trip.

We went 2 adults 2 kids 7 and 10, and a dog. We booked before hand as their website recommends. We arrived a little late but the bar staff were very accommodating. We ordered a veg lasagne and a chilli con carne and the kids had ham egg and chips and sausage and chips these were off the adults menu... More

This our 6th year of coming to Lee and the Grampus, each year we come back hoping to see an improvement and to our disappointment it is getting worse. It is in the most magical situation and could be an absolute gold mine for the owner if he cared. 1. Filthy glasses. 2. Same menu for years, now out dated... More

We did a walk from Morthoe along the Cliffs to Lee Bay and had a lovely lunch at the Grampus Inn before walking back inland. There is a nice outside seating area where one can sit with ones dogs but they are also allowed in the pub. Their local beer is brewed on the premises and is delicious! The food... More

you walk in its like a cave dark dingy ,dirty and filthy, from the unkept un weeded garden with broken or old tables , motorhomes taking up most of the car park spaces , the young staff are filthy with grubby aprons on, no smile no sense of humour and no politeness . they cannot even get a decaf coffee...
