Picked up a take away which was ready when promised. Onion Bhajee was an unusual shape but tasted very nice. Chicken Balti very good -hot green chillis added some heat but not enough to overpower the dish. Prawn Bhuna also very good but not as hot as the Balti. Daughter had chicken nuggets and chips which was well cooked and... More

Food and service is fantastic. I really can't fault the food in anyvway. The only downside was the wait for the food but worth it.

Whilst staying at the angus hotel Blairgowrie we decided to go for a curry as the hotel restaurant seemed too quiet for our liking. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. Food portions were huge!!! I could have shared with two others and very reasonable price. Everything was well presented and delicious. A good night out.

We phoned an order for here and at were at first informed they did not do delivery?! We decided to collect the order which consisted of a mushroom pakora, chicken pakora, chicken chatt, chips, spicy onions and poppadoms, hardly a huge order! We were told 35 minutes for collection which was ok as there were four if us having pizza... More

Stayed at the Angus inn, next door to this restaurant. Had a long 13 hours at work and nipped in for an Indian straight after work in our work gear. Me and my colleague are quiet fussy with quality of food but this place was a great choice. The food was of a beautiful A class quality. Tastes very fresh,... More

Went in to order a takeaway at twenty five past six and was quoted half an hour as I explained that I was in a hurry. Disgusting service and ended up taking an hour and ten minutes before receiving food. The place wasn't busy at all and there was at least 10 other customers who entered after were served first.... One of the first things I did as I walked into the restaurant was ask if the stuck to the menu, or they cooked to order, and they cooked exactly what I wanted, the way I wanted it. They took a while to cook the main meal, but that was because they were cooking it from scratch, and if you... More

Maybe I chose the wrong night but waiting for one hour twenty minutes for a meal is not my idea of good service. It was only at the latter part of this period that we were offered any apology or explanation. Apparently we, the customers, were at fault for all coming in at roughly the same time. There was also... More

Popadums ,Chicken Maryland and chips, Chicken Tikka well done and a garlic nan well done When our order came the chicken in the tikka was excellent ,however I noted my nan was not well done but tasted all right... Best Indian food around served in tastefully decorated surroundings (no flock wallpaper!). Friendly welcoming staff but can be understaffed when busy which can lead to a wait for food. An additional waiter would be good. Building was previously a club which explains the exterior appearance referred to on an earlier review.
