Lovely place to eat and drink

I've been there now on 3 occasions and each time the food has been fantastic and the service brilliant and all good quality for good prices. I would recommend the yarbridge to anyone I know.

We previously visited the Yarbridge a few weeks ago and had a lovely meal, with excellent attentive service, what a disappointment this time. Although it was very early evening the service was really poor, one member of staff in the restaurant was clearly not enough, it was half term so you would think a business would bear that in mind. We... More

Although the food was served reasonably quickly and staff were pleasant, this offered little that was other than old fashioned pub food, circa. 1970. Within those limits, the food was perfectly edible. But it was unimaginative - except in the prices charged! Much too expensive for what it was. However, it may suit those searching for something of days gone... More

Never judge a book by its cover. Open the door of this little gem and its abundantly clear a nice warm reception awaits you. This falls into the gastro pub category, it's casual, it has an endearing warmth and feel to it. We were seated quickly. A jug of flavoured tap water was placed on our table bursting with fruit,... its very difficult to find words to describe this restaurant that has not been used in other peoples reviews but to simply say it really is very good with a great atmosphere very friendly and helpful staff and the food is exceptional. No visit to the IOW would be complete without a meal at the Yarbridge restaurant.

We were invited to join some family friends for a Sunday lunch. We normally eat at home on Sunday and it had been a long time since we went out for a traditional Sunday lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of food on offer and it was excellent. Had more than I could eat and very good... More

Ate at the Yarbridge Inn on a Tues evening, lucky we booked the day before, as it was packed! We could understand why, as the service was excellent, as was the food. The seared pork steaks in scrummy cider gravy were very tender, served with piping hot vegetables that were cooked to perfection. Scampi & chips - amazing chips, crisp... More

Four of us visited for Sunday lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with the vast menu which included local roast beef and pork as well a full menu so lots of choice. The scallop starter was extremely good, both roasts were served with plenty of veg and all the trimmings. One of the party had the crab and prawn mornay... More

A very popular "gastro" pub, booking recommended. Interior is more attractive than the exterior so don't be put off. Good choice of freshly cooked food, wines and beers. Outdoor seating for those long summer days and evenings.

Very good Sunday lunch, you will need to book - and go for an early lunch if you want the beef as they had run out by the time we arrived at 4pm last Sunday.
