Impressed once again

We have been a few times and have always have a lovely meal. This time we brought along my parents and they loved it. They want to come again next time they are in the Isle of Wight. Food was amazing and service was great. All the little touches like the fruit in the table water and the pork... read more

Beautiful little pub/restaurant. Far too many yuppy parents desperately trying to coax their misbehaved children to behave. Good size portions and fresh local produce. Lovely friendly staff.

A really enjoyable, tasty and locally sourced Sunday roast. If beautifully cooked fresh vegetable's served on hot plates with plenty of gravy served to your table are important factors then this is the place for you. Welcoming and friendly service make this a great place to dine.

We booked lunch here for Easter Sunday a few weeks ahead of going to the Isle of White for a break. I had read the reviews and was happy to give it a shot. Really glad we did. Some of the reviews mention the exterior- whilst from the outside it is not an enchanting country pub - unless you sit... More

I've passed this pub many times and live locally but have never given it a second glance. Speaking to many people the recommendations were all excellent so thought I'd give it a go. We booked lunch with friends on Easter Sunday. Well we were not disappointed. The outside of the pub may look inconspicuous but it certainly does not reflect... More

We went here on a Sunday after walking along the coast and cliffs of Sandown - we did have a booking so would recommend making one as the place was pretty busy... but still very comfortable. The service was great, the food was just fantastic - under a tenner for a roast that would cost double that back in London.... More

On a recent trip to the Isle of Wight, we ended up visiting the Yarbridge Inn twice, once for a drink at the end of a long walk, and later that day for food. Having saw the reviews, my expectations were high, but I'm glad to be able to say they were both met and surpassed. The staff were incredibly... More

We were invited out by friends for sunday lunch to the Yarbridge, i have driven past loads of times and never took any notice, boy was i wrong! I wanted to keep it to myself, like a hidden gem but that would'nt be fair!! So, roast beef and a bottle of tempranillo ordered, we waited, but not for long, super... More

I've eaten here a number of times now, both with family and friends. The service is always impeccable and attentive without being intrusive. The food never disappoints. The only problem with this venue is that it's so popular you have to book in advance and several times I've been disappointed by leaving it too late!

My daughter and myself booked a table for the second night of a two night break in the Isle of Wight, as it was my birthday. Wow what a lovely little restaurant , the food was absolutely amazing, and the service was second to none, a very good variety of dishes to choose from. Can't wait to go back to... More
