Fed up with the dinner being served in our hotel, we found this fantastic pub in Sandown. The food was amazing and I heartily recommend the famous `Caulk Burger`!. Service was friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere in the place was great. Best meal I had all week on the IOW.

Me and my family visited here last week whilst on holiday , after me and my husband had recommended it to my parents as we had eaten here before whilst on holiday. We were made to feel really welcome and the bar staff were very friendly. We all had lovely meals and were very happy with service the pub was... More

Visited Caulkheads with friends who were visiting the island. This was my first visit for something like 6 years. We were regulars for many years but stopped going as it had gone downhill! In November 2013 the pub was taken over by the Character group. As I came from work I decided to have a meal. I thought the menu... More

A nice place, varied menu but the prices of the drinks are very high. £4 for a pint of cider OUCH!! Having said that, it was well patronised and the meals did look good as they were served. Staff very polite and clean and tidy.

Friendly staff, food is ok, standard pub food. Fast service, went there years ago, portions smaller than before, but still good.

We were working on The Isle of Wight and our company arranged for us to eat at this pub. The staff were very accommodating, especially when 23 of us arrived late, all together. The meals arrived fairly quickly and were satisfactory. On one of the evenings I ordered a prawn salad (not on the menu) and was disappointed to have... More

Very nice play area outside for child to play while we wait, good quick service and good food, I had the steak which was cooked perfectly. Would go again, when I visit Isle of Wight.

Brilliant food at decent prices, and the indoor & outdoor play areas for the kids are brilliant - made the meal a lovely experience!

This is the first time I've visited "The Caulkheads" since it changed 'management'......have to say the service was good & the staff were very polite, but what let it down big time for me was the the food. I had a rump steak on their weekly "steak night" it was supposed to be served medium rare and it was mainly... More
