Of you're looking for peace n quiet then this is a great place to go. 5mins from the sea front its a hidden gem. Staff friendly and helpful. Beer/wine well kept. Food of a high standard. This is the place to go if you want a quiet lunch with family (speckaly if you have young ones). Food is consistently good, at a reasonable price. Service is consistently friendly. We keep coming.

Been a while since my wife and I have been here but it was every bit as good as our last visit. We both had the chicken surf and turf in a lime jus which was spot on.The waitress was very attentive without being to over bearing. We will be back soon!

After reading reviews thought we would give it ago I wish I never bothered. It was very quiet at 2.30pm which is very strange for anywhere that serves Sunday lunch. There was only 3 other people sitting at 1 table. I ordered the lamb shank. It was very tough the 1 roast potato was raw the Yorkshire pudding was flat... More

Very quiet, but service by a very pleasant young man was very professional - restaurant standard, and we were only sitting in the bar. Food was excellent. Vegetable soup was obviously home made, with chunks of veg in it and very tasty. Bowl was large and deep, so it was kept very hot. Bacon & brie baguette very tasty too.... More
