The finest pork belly I've ever had, with lobster tempura, perfectly cooked asparagus and pomme purée. My colleague had the same and absolutely loved his too. I've eaten at two Michelin starred restaurants in the last month and this main course was on a par with what I had there. Truly something special. Dessert was salted coconut meringues with pineapple... More

My wife and I are always looking for fine dining, and on a visit to the Isle of Man, this restaurant was in the Michelin Guide, so it was first on our list. For us, a perfect dining experience needs three elements to be at their best - surroundings, service, and the meal itself. All three came up to expectation,... More

We ate here last Friday and had the tasting menu which was priced at £55.00 and it was superb. Could not have tasted better at some of the Michelin starred restaurants we frequent regularly in London. So lucky to have such talent here on the Isle of Man. Keep it up Steve .

Four of us to celebrate a birthday. Have been several times to Steve's restaurant. This night the so called maître de was very forward and verging on rudeness. Food was not as usual. Steak ordered rare/blue came as medium/well, and not hot. 5 yes 5 chips, ok so these were very special chips, as they were fried 3 times! Total... More

Went here to eat but felt unwelcome, and whilst I felt smartly dressed I got the impression that there was a certain welcome for the older traditional guest, and another for the smart, casual dresser. The food was expensive and dressy but slightly disappointing but I might be biased due to the 'poor' reception experienced.

Great service, great food, particularly the baked Turbot. Anyone visiting the island should try this place. My only complaint is why is there a man offering me pepper before I have tasted the food? Surely the Chef has seasoned the food properly?

Four of us went on valentines night. Busy night for a good restaurant and the regency was just that. However we were made to feel as if we were the only customers despite my need for gluten free. The food was splendid; interesting delicious unusual and out of this world. Service delightful with nothing too much trouble. Ambience just what... More

We went to this restaurant on 9/11 to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Upon arrival we were seated in the bar area, coats taken and drinks served while we browsed the menu option. The staff were smartly dressed, polite and well spoken as they explained the soup and fish options available. Our order was taken-and after... More
