Had an evening meal there not long ago - Had been there for lunch a few times and had always been very happy so was really looking forward to it. We were a fairly large party so were seated downstairs. Not ideal as we were the only ones there so no real atmosphere. It took a while to get our... More

If you can't eat a lot, don't go here. Portions are very good, good quality food, staff very nice and helpful.

Went in for a drink and cake, we were quickly seated and handed menus. After asking what cakes were available we ordered and waited. The room gave the impression of being a victorian parlour and an eclectic mix of china cups, saucers and tea plates adorned the tables but tea was served in eartheware teapots. Tea was promptly served but... More

We were sat downstairs as we were quite a large group, it was great. The food was so tasty and we brought our own wine. One of the ladies in our group can not eat gluten and the meal she wanted was adapted to her requirements. We were very impressed.

My wife and i arrived in Peel with some friends in the rain and we were looking for somewhere to have a light bite and a refuge from the rain. We got a call from my daughter and her husband telling us that they were at the Harbour lights cafe along the front. It was just what we were looking... More

I've just had a most enjoyable experience and a fantastic afternoon tea at the Harbour Lights in Douglas. The calorie counter should be left at home and all dietary concerns should be left at the door before entering . . . Enjoy!! We had been here previously for a late lunch/early dinner and had a cracking meal, but then we... More

We arrived without a booking and at first glance, the restaurant looked full, we enquired about a table and were advised that if we waited five minutes they would have one cleaned up and ready. Whilst waiting a number of diners left, presumably because they were going onto the theatre, The menu is large and varied and they offer a... More

We rather like the Harbour Lights eateries ....there are four of them on the IofM. The Douglas Restaurant is a delight... Lovely staff ...great food. We had a early evening meal before going to a show at the Gaiety Theatre. Very highly recommended
