I've just had a most enjoyable experience and a fantastic afternoon tea at the Harbour Lights in Douglas. The calorie counter should be left at home and all dietary concerns should be left at the door before entering . . . Enjoy!! We had been here previously for a late lunch/early dinner and had a cracking meal, but then we... More

We arrived without a booking and at first glance, the restaurant looked full, we enquired about a table and were advised that if we waited five minutes they would have one cleaned up and ready. Whilst waiting a number of diners left, presumably because they were going onto the theatre, The menu is large and varied and they offer a... More

We rather like the Harbour Lights eateries ....there are four of them on the IofM. The Douglas Restaurant is a delight... Lovely staff ...great food. We had a early evening meal before going to a show at the Gaiety Theatre. Very highly recommended

This small cafe is really more of a lunchtime venue.Very friendly staff and cosy atmosphere full of locals. The only complaint? The hunk of fresh bread is so fantastic that you never get to the dessert course! Everything comes with extra chips, which are probably the best I've tasted. All food tasted homemade and presented very well. They open a... More

We went for lunch in another of this little chain and it was excellent so decided to give this a try. Cake to die for and great friendly service. Good facilities for our 18 month daughter as well.

Thanks for a very good meal, at a reasonable price. All the staff were very friendly, and the service was extremely quick. The only criticism (if you can call it one) would be that the soup was too hot, needing 10 minutes before it was cool enough to eat. Compensation being more time to enjoy the warm hunk of fresh... If you are going to the Isle of Man and would like some where to go and have a perfect cup of coffee and free refill and a perfect slice of cake than it has to be here, they also have one in Peel which is just as perfect, also the lunchtime meals are really good, spending a week on... More
