Great place

Stopped off here for a light lunch, 3 course special for £11. Great value meal, polite and friendly staff, lovely decor and ambience. I had the carrot soup, fish and chips and strawberry meringue. My other half had the onion soup, chicken hot pot pie and peach melba. Both really enjoyed our meals... read more

Called in for lunch and wow....... Had rarebit with smoked haddock . So delicious. Service first class. Finished with a petit dessert of jelly and red fruit. Couldnt fault it one bit. Tea pot had three cups of tea in it. Really must visit if you can.

It was a wet lunchtime and we decided to eat here. It was very busy but the service was great. We all had completely different food and none of us had any complaints. I was told I must try Manx kippers on my visit so tried them here. They were huge and I loved them. The ambience, music and setting... More

Three of us visited this very quiet and comfortable cafe/restaurant on Castle Street, Douglas one evening recently and had a most enjoyable evening. We did not have a reservation and yet the staff fitted us in to the busy restaurant with the minimum of fuss and before we knew it, we were ordering from the extensive menu! We all chose... More

We missed the breakfast at our hotel so went searching for an alternative. Harbour Lights more than filled the bill. We had a fantastic breakfast - far more food than we could manage which was cooked really well. The staff were really pleasant and we were served quickly.

The food is excellent but the service is very slow, apart from that, a good place and well worth checking out

Friendly Victoriana style décor, welcoming friendly efficient staff, varied menu, reasonably priced, chairs not wildly comfy but ok for an hour or so. I ordered steak which was thinly sliced and a tad hard, but very tasty and there was plenty of vegetables cooked just right. The desert menu had "small" tasters for £2 each. I ordered a tiny trifle... More
