I had a late business lunch on a Saturday afternoon with people from the UK I couldn't think where to bring them unfortunately the courthouse can be forgotten about at the weekend - I can honestly say we made the right choice the staff were very attentive and pleasant and the food was delicious - We will definitely return !... A group of 7 of us spent last night here for dinner. Friendly service, but originally we were seated in the booths in the bar area, but the music was far to loud even at 8pm so we asked to be moved into the restaurant. We ordered one of the £20 tapas plates, which is served on a massive slate.... More

Came here with my brothers, we wanted the fajitas but when we arrived the menu said fajitas were only served until 6pm. Bit strange not to serve the fajitas at dinner time. The waitress was friendly but foreign and had difficultly understanding when we asked for cod and chip - it's called beer battered chips on the menu. The menu... More

Popped into the Courthouse for 1 drink and ended up staying all night. Atmosphere was very welcoming; staff were attentive; drinks very reasonably prices (especially the cocktails!) A great night out :-)

Nice place, the food wasn't great on this occasion but I know they can do better, very friendly staff and some comfortable seating. On the downside it does get quite hot in there when it is full.

We called in yesterday, just looking for something light. The Courthouse is a big building, and lacks a bit of atmosphere when there's not many dining - and yesterday there wasn't many dining, which was a shame. We only really wanted a snack lunch but my husband thought the Sunday lunch, at £13.95, looked good value for money and he... More

Wowed by the outside and it really looks a classy venue. Absolutely spotless and gleaming inside. Set in the financial district which perhaps explains the relatively high prices. It was also a Saturday lunch time and we were the only customers for the hour we spent for lunch. We were sat in the booths of the restaurant which perhaps were... More

Ordered a chicken Caesar salad at lunchtime for £9.95 and received half a chicken breast on top of lettuce and mayonnaise with croutons and bacon sprinkled around the place. I was under the impression what makes a Caesar salad a Caesar salad was the Caesar dressing rather than.... some mayo. Not even Hellmans mayo either! Very poor for the cost.

Plenty of room and a good choice of ales and spirits. It can also get quite busy at the weekends creating a lively atmosphere.

I picked up a leaflet for a reduced lunch at The Court House and went along on a Saturday. It was empty - but that's normal, as they're busier for lunch on weekdays (it's in the banking/business area of Douglas) and for dinner service. The staff were friendly and the place was spotless. It looked brand new (but it's been... More
