FINE FOOD BUT DIFFICULT ACCESS.

A genuine Italian restaurant serving fine food at very fair prices, it has only two things against it. Firstly, being on Douglas seafront it is usually difficult and sometimes impossible to park neaeby and secondly, being on a lower ground floor there are a lot of steps to cope with which makes it... read more

Me and my friend went here last month and we were pleased with everything like the drinks were taken straight away and then we ordered food straight away as well. We got our food at a reasonable time but then we never got offered Parmesan or black pepper, I had to ask for it about 3 times and it wasn't... More

Returned here at the end of TT, after a long absence. The place was very busy and after a short wait with drinks we were taken down to our table. Due to hw busy the place wass there waas a great vibrant atmosphere. Our order was taken promptly and there were suitable gaps between courses. Despite the plce being full... More

Great when celebrating a birthday or special occasion. If you inform them when booking and take along a cake, at an opportune time, the waiters all come out singing Happy Birthday, carrying the cake with lighted candles. It is usual for the whole place, including other diners to all join in with the rendition! Great atmosphere, service and wonderful food!

Pizzas are ok but you just get the feeling the staff are going through the motions...and £85 for two adults and two kids when, for £110, you can a far,far better meal at Tanrogan (lunch) just down the road. Could do so much better so get rid of the complacency (rife in the IoM) and remember your customers!

Food very average, service also not to a level I would expect (although it was busy on the day I eat there), prices above average. Ambiance - decor needs attention the place looks run down and in need of a face lift. Although I visited as a single person eating alone it did seem to be reasoably popular with young... More

We visited this restaurant twice during the TT practice week and both times had a first class meal. The staff are very efficient and although it is always busy they make time for you and you can ask for any variation of a dish you may prefer. The entrance is very basic and off putting but when you get downstairs... More

Not just pizza, good range of dishes and specials board. We were a party of six covering three generations and everybody catered for. Nice relaxed atmosphere not rushed at all.

The food here is very good and excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and courteous. Don't be put off by the entrance, you go through a large room that is sparsely decorated, the restaurant is downstairs. The waiting staff were too efficient, we felt rushed. The garlic bread wasn't to my taste too oily and too thin. The... More

The service was too fast you hadn't sat down before your drinks order you hadn't finished chewing before your plates were taken away NO exaggeration x the main meals were excellent the garlic bread burnt tasted of olive oil more like a popadom. The staff were friendly but too fast.
