Consistently good

Excellent but small fish restaurant serving mainly local seafood but with a couple of options for non fish eaters or vegetarians. Always good service and due to its small size it usually has a good atmosphere. Hard to beat for consistency and quality.

Lovely food, couldn't fault it. Only thing is, didn't realise how small the restaurant was, which wasn't really a problem as the decor is beautiful - the toilet isn't in a great place, right next to the kitchen - slightly off putting and considering the restaurant was recently refurbished, you think they would consider the layout a bit more carefully.... Went with a group from work for Christmas meal, so all food was pre-ordered. It still took over an hour for starters to arrive. The food was okay, but nothing special, and not anywhere near being worth the price (£42 for a three course meal). Insult was added by the bill coming with a 10% service charge, for very ver5y... I LOVE this place! The fish is fresh and yummy and always have a good selection of specials on the board. Staff are very friendly too. My only suggestion would be to keep your coat on if you are sitting near the window it gets a bit chilly! But don't let that detract you from the food!

We've been twice now. We're a young couple who go out for food every two weeks or so...Tanrogan would generally be our of our price range apart from special occasions. We moved to the Isle of Man, looked around, saw the menu and decided we'd go as a treat. Five year anniversary meal- exquisite service and food from start to... More

This seafood restaurant is highly recommended. There was a lobster festival the night we went and the lobsters were fabulous.
