Good seafood restraunt

Tanroagan is a small busy restraunt serving excellent food. We had a speciality dish Manx Queenie pasta which was delicious followed by an equally wonderful sweet. The wine list was also very acceptable.... The bill did not come as a shock as the quality of everything was just right. It is... read more

We have eaten here a few times before and gave good reviews but it seems the chef and passion has gone! The food was very greasy and tasteless and far below what we have would have expected. The waitress did not seem to report our comments while we were there, guess this is why the restaurant was all but empty!

One of the best meals I have ever had, let alone on IoM. Started with a wild garlic roll (complimentary) with Manx butter. Then the first highlight, a stilton, leek and potato soup that was awesome. The flavor of the stilton came out and the soup was luxurious. Then I had the Manx Crab Toasties, which is creamy crab on... More

After a hard day filming for the BBC on the beautiful Isle of Man, it was suggested to us that we dine at Tanroagan. "You'll love their Queenies", said our contributor. So off we eagerly went, myself and my colleague to eat what we imagined would be a well-deserved meal for our hungry, tired selves. We found the restaurant quite... More

I love the service and the atmosphere here. Even the warm fresh bread is so delicious, honestly, I had to have seconds. The environment is very good for good friends having a nice get together with a good meal. Light, bright, and not too noisy to see and hear one another. Fish is definitely fresh, no stale fishy business here.... More

An excellent meal and such a variety of options made my choice very difficult but it was fantastic - first time I'd ever eaten Queenies and they were perfectly cooked. Great ambiance and service

We ate dinner here recently while on holiday on the Isle of Man. We chose the restaurant after reading reviews and were not disappointed. All the food we had was delicious and device was faultless. Would definitely go back if we visit the island again

Probably the best meal I've ever had in the Isle of Man. Tanroagan is a superb restaurant. The food is clever and tastes fantastic with service to match. We had the lunch time menu which was well priced and just a slightly smaller version of the full menu option. The Isle of Man has been crying out for a good... More

Highly popular restaurant - tables MUST be booked in advance! The food was attractive, tasting fresh and flavoursome. The restaurant itself was a little crowded but this did not affect the service which was friendly and prompt. Drinks are a little pricey but worth it for a great evening.
