This tearoom is very homely and the staff couldn't be nicer to everybody .Whether you want an ice cream or a full meal the choice is large.Everything is nice and fresh and made to order.Eat in or take away the same care seems to be taken. This is a place to call in if you are passing or worth a special... Having read reviews on here we were determined to go and try the food. We ordered a ploughman' s lunch and a cheese omelette and a pot of tea. We chose a nice sunny spot just as a family came to play crazy golf which kept us entertained. My cheese omelette was delicious and was served with salad and French... More

If you're willing to explore behind the chintzy tourism of the Old Shanklin tearoom strip, then this is by far the best tearoom in our opinion. The cakes are super-fresh and homemade, the sandwiches generous with proper size side-salads and the staff are cheerful, friendly and helpful and happy to let you take your time. It is also very good... More

Top marks. Ploughmans and crab sandwiches were generous in proportion. Very tasty with the many pickles provided. One of the few establishments I'd like to visit again.

This little gem tucked away in a park is wonderful. A crazy golf course is set out in the centre, with a variety of seating around the edges, surrounded by some lovely plants. A wide choice of food and drink is available (until early evening in the summer), and a large selection of home-made cakes. The meals are excellent value... More

Found this place in 2009 whilst on holiday and it was top of the "must return to" list after booking a return visit to the Isle of Wight this year, 2013. The setting is just lovely - lots of tables and chairs surrounding a really cute looking crazy golf course, all in amongst the most amazing number of colourful hanging... More

I love going to Rhylstone Gardens Tea Room. I always feel so relaxed. The staff are amazing and always have a smile and a cheery chat for everyone. The food is always such good value and beautifully presented. You NEVER feel rushed. It is good fun watching young and old playing the old fashioned wooden crazy golf course. We even... More

We love the quirky old, times past, wooden crazy golf, the hanging baskets and floral displays. Who wouldn't enjoy their coffee or lunch in such surroundings.

I think this is actually spelt "Rylestone" which might explain why I couldn't find it first to write my review. Not open all year so make the most of it when you can. The gardens and flowers are superb, sometimes red squirrels can be seen in the surrounding trees. Staff are friendly and welcoming and even if you don't play... More

We found this a great place to sit and relax. Children can play crazy golf here too! We all had a Ploughmans and a cup of tea, and the food just kept coming! Lots of extras, and pickles etc, really, really good service, and very reasonably priced too! We`ve been before, but when we tried to visit last Ocober, it... More
