Established Italian restaurant - wine questionable

Popped in for a birthday meal and had starters and mains. Presentation could be worked on. Cheesy garlic bread lovely, veal could have been any meat and arrabiata lacked any heat but saying that it all tasted ok, just not really what was advertised. Staff friendly.

We hadn't booked but Lilly found us a table. We had to wait quite a while as it was very busy but they looked after us and kept us up to date of when it was our turn. Bubbly atmosphere all night, fantastic food, singing staff - what more could you ask for!

Fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic value. Make sure you book as it can get very busy, you will see why once you have visited yourself and sampled what is on offer.

We visited in December 2015 - out of the main tourist season - and enjoyed a beautiful three course meal for £14/head. The food was outstanding, with generous portions and a great choice on the menu. The wine was good and also great value. The service was exceptional. They didn't rush us, they were attentive to our needs, they smiled... More

We were having a night out at Shanklin Theatre and needed to have dinner, we went in to Mamma Mia and had the best meal. The Staff were very friendly and gave us great service, the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced . We are defiantly going to go again and recommend it to everyone.

Here we go....I don't usually add my comments but I am so enraged after visiting this establishment. I went for the 3 course menu....I had garlic bread for starters....then krdered the calamari for main course. When it arrived, it was under cooked....I highlighted this to the waitress.....and thought they would apologise and offer me something else.....but no.....they offered me the... More

Booked in for a treat before the sell-out Lucid concert at nearby Shanklin theatre. Lovely welcome, ample friendly and attentive staff, super menu at reasonable prices. Two courses (had crab & prawn tagliatelle for main - great quality and value). Cost for two incl. wine under £40. Possible to eat cheaper here, but hey ho! Everything a traditional Italian restaurant... More
