Lovely little pub right down on the beach. Food is excellent. Try the crab sandwiches, they are delicious

Very generous portions lovely tasty fish and crispy batter but not too crispy. Very good friendly service good value and fantastic views. This is a very popular venue so be prepared to wait for a table but do take the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy your meal and the fantastic view

Having had a disappointing brunch and was still hungry we stopped here after a beautiful walk round the chine gardens. Sitting outside to take in the view our chips with Smoked apple cheese are a must, however the bacon sandwich for me was just mouth watering, well presented on the plate with a good selection of sauces to choose from.... This place is charming, great real ales and well kept too, the food I chose was "Mariners Pie" . Was it good...... Hell yeah, it was the best ever, if you like seafood it don't get a lot better than this.

Lovely thatched pub right on the seashore at Shanklin. Service was quick and friendly; the atmosphere relaxed and unhurried. The fish and chips were fantastic and definitely the best on the Island! One of our party had the meat pie which would have satisfied Desperate Dan! Would recommend the food any day!

Located right on the sea front in Shanklin this is a gem of a place to eat. Although my family and I had to sit outside as the bar was full it was fairly sheltered and the food was worth it. Good quality and reasonably priced for quality food. Good portions and well presented. Recommended.

Very cosy thatched pub on the beach, slightly hidden behind the cliff, under the Shanklin chine. We went here a couple of times to eat during the week. Best fish and chips on the island!
