We went here last week whilst holidaying. It was amazing, having visited shanklin a few times this is the first time we stopped. We went with our two children 5 and 1 and it was lovely. The staff were really nice and the food was amazing. I had a cream tea and husband and kids had chocolate cake. I've uploaded... More

We popped in here late afternoon as we had been enjoying Blackgang Chine and wanted a snack to keep us going until dinner later that evening. As we were staying in Shanklin and explored the centre it looked a cosy place to enjoy our snack. After locating a table to accommodate the 5 of us in a pretty, quaint "blue"... More

I have thoroughly read your review and it is obvious that you have no idea how my business runs. Firstly through experience you were advised to choose another table because you chose a table that happily seats three people and I am always concerned that someone will get burnt if they are trying to juggle teapots on too small a... After a couple of hours walking around the area we stopped for afternoon tea - a variety of scones available, all served warm, with homemade jam and a lovely pot of tea. Well worth working up an appetite for!!!

This place is CRAZY! We were visiting the Isle of Wight for a day and being gluten free, thought we'd visit The Old Thatch Tearooms as the trusty internet told me they had great gluten free options! When we walked in it was like going to grandma's house. One room is BRIGHT pink and frilly with ornaments all over every... More

A fine and friendly tea shop. With thatched roof and typical, well decorated/designed interior. Staff are very friendly. An excellent menu accompanies tea served just as it should be.

We visit this delightful tea house with our family & two young grandchildren while on Isle Of Wight. We had lunch there. A tasty experience, friendly service. The Restaurant was crowded, but each table was treated as if they were the only people in there. Thank you for a memorable experience. If you go to Shanklin, go & try this... More

Found this Tea Room on TripAdvisor decided to visit as it was highly recommended . The look of the place was very quaint and pretty, I really liked the different coloured room. Service was good and food was nice . But have had better on the island.

As a coeliac we are not used to choice, so I needed extra time to choose from the vast array of gluten free options on the menu. We visited for afternoon tea and sat in the sunshine admiring the fairy garden, I had a beautifully presented scones, jam and clotted cream, which was a real treat, and because I'd struggled...
