Restaurant was spotless. Food was fantastic. Three of us had chicken & fish, everything was beautiful. Also very reasonable, 3 of us had a two course meal for £60. We were served by a lovely lady & the owner was a very nice young chap who kept his eye on proceedings the whole time. It was very noticeable that his... More

Very high quality food indeed. I had the broccoli and stilton soup... best soup I've ever tasted. Off to buy a soup machine see if I can recreate it! My wife had chicken I had cod for mains. Vegetables were perfect, saute potatoes very tasty, cod achieved perfection! Quality wine and lager enjoyed. spotlessly clean, wonderful ambience. Last and by... More

We came on recommendation from my sister on a Tuesday night, greeted warmly by laid back although confident waiter (rightly so!). Starters arrived quickly- they were piping hot and delicious! Then we gradually saw the resurant fill with people which added to the atmosphere (during had unflappable staff). I was very impressed when a waitress came to my rescue with... More

We have eaten here many times and are never disappointed. Food, service and general ambience all very good. Last week over two visits we sampled the crab cakes, steak, pork fillet, lamb cannons, cod fillet - all excellent, beautifully cooked food, the chef knows his stuff. The summer pudding is also a favourite. Recommended.

We don't often do 'fine dining' but we decided to treat ourselves - and we're glad we did! The food was excellent, service was friendly and the overall ambience just right. We arrived just in time to get a table, they were busy so it took a while for the food to arrive but it was fresh so that is... More

Me and my girlfriend went on weekday evening and we didn't have to book a table. Atmosphere was nice and we were welcomed by kind staff. We started our meal with 'Mushroom Pancakes' and 'Crab Cakes'. They tasted alright but were way too salty for us. I'm not sure if they were meant to be that salty but my mouth... More

We have eaten here several times and each time, not have not been disappointed. Visiting the Island we had dinner Thursday and the service and food was up to expectations. Civilised eating is the word here and I can recommend this restaurant for those who would find cheaper establishments, tiresome with the noise of screaming kids a distraction and the... More
