Our party of four really enjoyed dinner off the fixed price menu which had adequate choices and was great value for 3 courses. Our mains included the slow roast pork belly and the sea bass - both to be recommended. The house sauvignon blanc is excellent!

I was taken to Fontana today for my 50th birthday lunch. This was my first visit. The owner, Colleen, had agreed to my partner's request for a 3 course menu. The staff were wonderfully attentive and professional. The restaurant was sparkling clean, bright and tastefully decorated. The food was fabulous. The best meal I have ever had in any restaurant. My 1st and by no means last time in Fontana. Food fresh and well presented. Fried potatoes tasted a bit 'old' and portion size was on the small side but all in all very pleasant meal was had here. Gorgeous decor and spotless loos. Always a bonus.

Recently visited Fontana for lunch. I hadn't been for some years and was impressed to see that the high quality food and service hadn't changed. It was also nice to see a reasonable number of wines by the glass not the mini bottles that so many restaurants plonk in front of you

Went for lunch today with friend and although food was very good left feeling disappointed at portion size. We wanted to share two specials and was advised by lovely waitress to order two large lunch specials. When I questioned her re. size of goat tart and how small it was she said its the same size of the small lunch... More

I haven't visited Fontana in well over a year, but have been many times in the past. I ordered the "spaghetti" with king prawns, but the spaghetti was more like vermicelli or oriental noodles- not like the fantastic pasta that Fontana used to serve! The lobster starter was excellent, as was the Sauvignon Blanc- i've always loved Fontana's wine lists.... More

I hadn't been to Fontana for over 5yrs and after this evening I have no idea why I left it so long! Amazing 3 course set menu, faultless friendly service & just a lovely atmosphere. One of Holywood's top spots for sure.

I use Trip Advisor a lot when I travel and usually successfully. But to see Fontana listed as 7 in a small town like Holywood is crazy. The others are clearly boosted up the list by friends, family and trip advisor campaigns. This is the stand out establishment and has been for years. Quality modern food prepared with care -...
