Excellent quality and service. Amazing vegetarian selection.

We visited on a Wednesday evening and there were three tables occupied even when we arrived unfashionably early at 5:30; so if you want a particular night I suggest you book. During the week the set menu is excellent value. The hotel is intimate with the wines reasonably priced. Staff are very pleasant and helpful with the menu. This is quality dining at good prices. Can be busy at the weekends.

We made another return for what is one of the best value to quality ratio there is in the area - 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 at £48.50. Short, and understandably focused menu, but an excellent range of fish, meat and vegetarian options. Surprisingly I asked if we could upgrade to a more expensive wine ( and pay the... More

This place just never lets you down. Always impeccable service that's friendly yet smart; food that is consistently classically accomplished, an excellent wine list and a very lovely relaxed, smart, high-end environment. The only place in Holywood worth dressing up for - and very much nicer for it. We've taken clients and friends from London, Dublin and Edinburgh her and... More

My wife and I ate here on a Friday night in June with 4 of my old friends from school and really enjoyed the evening. The restaurant was very busy, so service was a bit slow, particularly in getting a drink and taking our order, but after that it was fine. There was an set menu for around £20 (mon-fri)... More

Fantastic restaurant with attentive, welcoming and efficient staff. The menu is varied and I was spoilt for choice. A great variety of dishes to choose from and I particularly liked the dessert menu. As a starter, the prawn risotto was amazing, I recommend that you try it. The restaurant itself had a good atmosphere without being too loud. I will... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, INCREDIBLE food. I had the goat's cheese tort to begin, the Chicken Curry for the main and the Chocolate Brownie with hazelnut ice cream to finish it all off. Absolutely delicious, and if you are ordering off the set menu, scandalously good value - a 3 course meal of this quality for £19.95 is unheard of.... More

I was fortunate enough to visit the restaurant on a busy Friday evening and the atmosphere was fantastic. Upon entering you immediately are at the pass where you see the chefs in action, and despite how busy it was they all greeted us with a smile and a hello, which I thought was fantastic. A gin and tonic to start,... More

A great meal, reasonably priced with a pleasant hostess and a lovely setting for a romantic evening. Look forward to returning and enjoying their special midweek offer for two with wine included in the deal.

I'm visiting this hidden gem more and more I find. The manager is a convivial and polished host. As fine dining goes, the place does little wrong. The wine list is extensive and well thought out. The menu is focused and not too airy-fairy. Food is consistently good, one star standard by anyone's judgement. All in all a very pleasant... More
