Went for lunch as we were staying in the Culloden

Lovely food and lovely staff. Disliked that the people at the table beside us were licking their knives, but, hey, that's not the Cultra Inn's fault. Since we were staying at the Culloden, in hindsight, I would probably stay up there for lunch. All in all though, the food and service were... read more

Was taking here for a business lunch during the week. Nice setting and nice interior. Was served by a young chap, nice and polite. However, he didnt removal our wine glasses which we didnt use for the whole meal. I choose the Irish beef burger which turned up on a wooden plate and looked like a golf ball in a... More

Been to the Cultra Inn numerous times with my SO and each visit is better than the last! Service is always very friendly and professional while the food is high quality and delicious! Would definitely recommend.

I stayed at the Culloden earlier this month, a wonderful property. However, the highlight of my stay was a visit to the onsite cultra inn. I was greeted by Sophie on arrival, who promptly made us up a few pre-dinner cocktails. Try the classic French Martini! Rebecca served us during dinner and was attentive but not intrusive. There was a... More

This place was a massive disappointment, we went here at Christmas for somewhere outside the city with a bit of charm, well if you call bad service over priced bland food charming then this is the place for you. Will not be back

We called here after being out for the day on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant/ bar was quite quiet so we were seated very promptly but it became busy quickly after we were seated. Took a bit longer than I'd anticipated for even our drinks order to be taken but I think they were under staffed and didn't expect as... More

Visited here for Sunday lunch. Restaurant was full but was shhown the bar area and decided to sit there. We had the carvery which was excellent. cannot fault the food but the service was what I would expect of a lower class place. It was slow, could not get anyones attention as kept vanishing out back or into restaurant area.... More

We were very much looking forward to our visit here. Service was ok, not great, but ok. The menu I would say held a high price, the portion sizes came out as a tapas size. I would border on saying it was a rip off for what we got! In addition there was a TV set blaring in the main... More

With mixed reviews I wasnt sure what to expect. Lots of variety on menu with plenty local options. Willing and friendly staff. Nice welcoming atmosphere. Spent an enjoyable evening here in good company. Would have no hesitation in returning.

Visited this restaurant to celebrate my mum's birthday. We were greeted by Duty Manager, Andrew who went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable. The menu selection is very good with so much choice. We opted for three courses each and weren't disappointed. The soup and pate were very tasty. This was followed by the salmon and daube... More
