Great atmosphere, lovely restaurant, food was delicious and the staff were mist attentive and helpful. The Graham Becks Chardonnay was a good choice and both the Mussels and Salmon followed by Chocolate Tort and Lemon Posset.

Excellent food and drink. Value for money and less expensive than the main dining room in the hotel.

We called in with another couple and our small children for a light snack about 2.30pm on a Friday afternoon. We felt unwelcome from the moment we walked through the door. A member of staff informed us a table for 8 might not be possible and it could be 10-15 minutes before we could be seated - despite the restaurant... More

The food was fine- not exceptional, but very good. the staff was most helpful- offering local tips for touring ideas and transport. Quiet atmosphere- something like a country inn but with modern touches.

Went here on Sunday for an afternoons feed. Took a long time to be noticed, let alone served. When we were presented with our meal, which cost considerably more than it was worth, it was deliciousl and well presented. However, for the price of a months rent, we had a SMALL ceaser amd a fish supper. Now, if nouvelle cuisine is... More

Called into the Cultra Inn for a late lunch yesterday afternoon around 2.30 pm. Decided to eat in the bar area, which had a few lunchtime diners remaining and a lot of empty tables still uncleared. The only cleared table wasn't a good choice as it was right beside the door, so was forced to sit at another table still... More

Met relatives for a get together and meal. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and made great suggestions on the menu. The pricing was in round numbers ie £5 for soup rather than £4.95, good portions, well cooked and served. Good but not extensive wine list and reasonably priced. A good value for money venue.

One of our group was celebrating her 80th birthday and I rang a few days before to see if they could make a whole pavlova for our dessert as we didn't want cake. They were more than helpful. The lunch was tasty. The only bugbear was the plates the caesar salads were served on. Totally inadequate and impractical. They were... More
