I've got a decent appetite and my wife can hold her end up as well but we shared a starter, I just about finished my main at a stretch and my wife ate less than half of hers. I'm sure we could easily have gone for a shared starter, a shared main and a shared dessert and come away very... More

The staff and service are the strengths to this place, they are very friendly and welcoming however the food is average at best. I've eaten here twice. The first time I had a burger which tasted very bland and did not look "homemade" more like out of a freezer bag and the causeway chips were still pretty hard. The second... More

I have eaten here many times, and never had a bad experience. My family and I booked a table for 10 for Boxing Day dinner. This was a buffet style service (it is normally table service). The selection was fantastic. Ranging from crab claws and pâtés to start, to a delicious selection of meats for the main. We had three... More

After reading the recent reviews we where a little nervous about dining at Cultra tonight but we need not have worried. From when we arrived to our leaving the staff could not have been more attentive. The food was good and after a little blip we had complementary dessert and coffee. We also had tasty shortbread served with our latte's.... More

It's quite a while since we've dined here. We called in for lunch recently. There weren't many in. Even so, service was a bit slow - maybe the food was freshly made. Service was good as was the menu and presentation, but just above average is as far as I can go. There are a lot better competitors out there.

We went for lunch on New Year's Eve (I was working nearby) and despite a sign outside, pointing us to an entrance which was locked, it was a good experience. Our waitress was Rebekah, who gave us fast and efficient service and helpfully showed me how to use my brand new Sony Experia, which was ready to be thrown out... More

Booked for a special NYE meal for 4. How disappointed we were. Lovely location but at £50 per meal - +£5 supp if steak ordered - this was not value you would like to associate with a 5+ Hotel complex. Dishes were sparse - more garnish than substance for starters: Goats tart for main was just that!! No accompanying veg... More

This is a lovely place and I went with my wife tonight for a treat as our children were with their grandparents. The atmosphere was nice and the food very good but unfortunately the experience was tainted by the service. The waiter and waitress were pleasant but only appeared to be 2 working for all customers there (one other was... More

Had family over on holiday and thought we would go here the atmosphere was awful after spending £100 we never got a thanks, staff rude and very slow at serving food, could see my food sitting on side waiting to be served while staff stood chatting. Very over priced too for what you get! I would not recommended this place... More
