All round class! Admittedly I never venture here for more that a coffee and cinnamon scone (soon to change that) but you're guaranteed quality. I love the vibes, staff are a delight and very helpful and of course the cinnamon scones are the best around. I also love how they're proud of their scone recognition but don't let that define... Usually a gratifying experience, today was a tad disappointing at the Bay Tree in Holywood. Sat down at a table but it took a full five minutes to have the table cleared of the previous customers' detritus. A surly chap walked past our uncleared table several times, once catching my eye without a smile or as much as a simple... More

Have been here a few times, but most recently was here for Sunday brunch, the food was brilliant especially the cinnamon scones! Definitely worth a visit! Have never had an evening meal here, but the menu looked quite pricey. Brunch was an OK price, the scones are worth the £2 though!

Went here with my family for dinner and could not fault it. I had the lamb for main, it was simply divine! Melt in the mouth, cooked to perfection, I can still taste it. Beautiful red wine to go with the meat, great service, friendly smiling waitress, overall superb.

My daughter, my husband, my sister and I have been going here for years and I still adore it. Lovely homely atmosphere, country vibe and helpful warm staff make it great to have lunch in. Went with my daughter, father in law and mother in law today and ordered the bacon toasties as well as 2 cinnamon scones. We were... More

Visited for brunch. In addition to great cinnamon scones they have a good breakfast menu and serve a decent cup of coffee. Well worth a visit!

Really very nice lunch. Mackerel special was off the chart, really good. Haddock was a little plain and wanted a caper or two. The service was slightly skew-whiff... My main was brought, left, then waitress returned to retrieve if from me again, saying it was for another table. Good job i hadn't touched it. Then my mum's main came, and... More

The Bay Tree is renowned for it's cinnamon scones but we came for the breakfast which was nicely cooked and reasonably priced. Only time I have ever had 3 different sorts of fried bread!

Enjoyed a magnificent, delicious Cinnamon Scone and coffee with my wife on Monday morning. I've been going on and off for 12 years; their scones are always excellent, if anything they've got better! Lovely atmosphere, nice fast service. A real treat to visit.

We have been to the Bay Tree a number of times, particularly at lunch & the cinnamon scones are lovely. So we were really looking forward to the Seafood & Sauvignon night & booked it months in advance. When we arrived our party of 5 was shown to a table more suited to an office Christmas Do & we were... More
