First visit - place was very busy but managed to get the last table. Service was quick considering how busy it was. Food was lovely & good portions. Good value as well. Will be back.

We have visited Baytree several times and have always found the service swift and friendly. There's a wide range of breakfast and lunch options, there's also an evening menu which we haven't as yet sampled. We are mostly drawn to Baytree for the fore mentioned scones. They are to a U.S. Style served warm with a knob of butter slowly... More

Last week two friends and I (we are 'ladies wot lunch') visited the Bay Tree (Holywood) It is down a little alleyway, and if I'm honest had I been on my own I probably wouldn't have gone in as it looks very ordinary from outside however when we entered the restaurant we discovered that it was very busy and had... I think the food is overpriced and you don't get a lot of it!It has a nice atmosphere but so do a lot of places that give better value.

My family and I recently visited The Bay Tree over the festive period for breakfast. The food was beautiful and the service friendly. The restaurant is quaint, excellent value for money and has a really lovely atmosphere. The only negative thing I would add is that our food took about 20/25 minutes to come, which is quite a long time... More

What would give it 5 full blown stars would be if there were no raisins sneaking around in the scones. I never grew to like them. Ever. Have been frequenting the place every weekend for a box to go. Going to explode. Amazing.

The Bay Tree Restaurant is a little hidden gem just off High Street in Holywood. Renown for their great coffee and cinnamon scones - they should also be renown for their excellent regular wine (and whiskey) tasting evenings matched with excellent food. Having been to my 3rd such event in as many months in conjunction with Gap Wine - matching... More

This is a lovely long established coffee shop cafe in Holywood. Just on the outer edge of the main street which allows some easier parking closeby. Enter through an old arch from the main street to the cafe on the left. An easy goods-to-go 'Go Bay Tree' on right side works well for a take away and stops customer clutter... More

Went here for lunch recently having not been in quite a while. We used to go to the Bay Tree very regularly over the years for breakfast, lunch, coffees and dinner. I opted for the ham super salad for lunch- whilst it was nice enough, it unfortunately not a patch on the excellent super salads that they used to do.... More

This is a special place for a lunch, snack, or coffee, with superb home made goodies and tasty main courses. The cider is very quaffable, the cakes delicious, the atmosphere usually busy and very contented. Only problem is it's so popular that it is sometimes difficult to get a table - probably because too many people like us feel compelled... More
