Arrived for a late lunch but place still quite busy. Just seated when one young waiter comes over to take our order. Haven't got a menu so he promptly brings us one and leaves. Another young guy comes over to take our order but we've just got our menus so haven't yet had a look. Anyhow, soup ordered accompanied by... More

The Menu changes every month I think. The night we went the food was really enjoyable and everyone I know says that's always so!! They dimmed the lights and lit candles and we learned we could trust the staff's recommendations. A very enjoyable meal and pleasant surroundings.

It's an institution in the town and somewhere we would come back to time and time again. Love the atmosphere and the food always seems so fresh and made with love.

This is the second visit to this establishment. The service on both occasions was very poor. Made our order sorry that's off sorry that's off no sorry that's off. Okay will have the chicken casserole, the minutes later sorry were only have bacon and mustard casserole. My wife ordered and again the waitress returned. I had gone to the rather... More

Terrible experience. Possibly the worst customer service I have received in a cafe/restaurant. We were repeatedly ignored...nobody came to take our order for a very long time. Our order (which was just soup and sandwiches) took 45mins to arrive and then we were told that several items were unavailable - which we ought to have been informed of at the... More

Regularly visit for breakfast and /or lunch Top quality food, well cooked and presented. Always buzzing and at times hard to get a table - which says it all Best fry you'll get anywhere in and around greater Belfast and the pan fried fish with salad and mash at lunchtime is brilliant Equally good for a coffee (best in town... Visited today with friend from London, had breakfast 5* beautiful food and great value. Girls that work here are super and very welcoming. Coffee was delightful and made with love. Waitresses from other restaurants/ cafes should take note as manners do not cost anything and these girls are a prime example of 5* customer service. Very friendly very good value... More

This restaurant/cafe only opens for dinner on a Friday night the rest of the time serves lunches and coffees. It is very basic inside with plain wooden tables and chairs. Our table for 4 was booked for 7.30. The set menu was quite limited and already they had run out of steaks even though only a few tables were occupied.... More
