We are never dissapointed when we visit Enigma for dinner. There always seems to be a lot of thought put into the menu and the quality is always superb. And they're very helpful when dining with children and always mention that they can cook something off menu for fussy eaters. Our toddler is always very impressed when he gets his... More

Excellent food plus excellent service equals very happy diners. It is very seldom we have experienced such good customer service and with food to match we will certainly be back. The menu was mouth-wateringly good and the wine list was equal to it. I would happily recommend Enigma to family and friends.

A group of four of us had dinner in Enigma on Saturday night last. It is a lovely restaurant and we were able to relax with a drink on arrival and order our food before being taken to the table which was a nice change. The menu choices were excellent and the staff went out of the way to accommodate... More

Just back from their Sunday Jazz Lunch. Lunch was great. With seven friends the food was super, as it always is. No complaints from any of us and a lot of praise. Staff are super. Busy place and that is good for them and the customers. Downside - jazz it isn't and too loud. Why use hyped amplifiers in what... More

Had a family meal here just after Christmas. The staff were excellent, and the food very good. It was well priced, and had pleasant decor and music. Overall, a nice experience, and I would happily recommend it to friends.

There are a lot of restaurants in North Down but Enigma stands out as one of the very best. We have dined in the Dirty Duck and Coast, both restaurants in Holywood, and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Therefore when we heard about Engima we thought we would try it for a change. What a revelation. From the warm welcome, lovely ambience, good service and delicious food we have now a new favourite restaurant .

Despite being packed out, service was great. Highlight dish was the lightly-curried monkfish. Some interesting ' rare ' wines on the list at decent prices ( though I wasn't paying ! ) Only small blemish was that wine-glasses were filled to two-thirds - a good way of rocketing through a Gevrey Chambertin, but not good form !

A lovely, quite romantic restaurant, Lesley very welcoming as are all the staff. A wide and varied menu, and good selection of wines for all tastes.Very easy to relax and enjoy a evening either as a couple or with friends.
