I have had it before and it was lovely. The staff were stood at the end of the bar all gossiping about the boss... More

Went for lunch having read reviews on Trip Adviser. The fish and chips were delicious with lovely crispy batter. It was a huge portion and unfortunately we couldn't do it justice. Very pleasant staff. Would highly recommend.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and all good. However, visited Saturday night and was very disappointed. My husband had the same and one... More

Three of us decided on an impromptu visit on a very wet and windy Thursday night recently. It wasn't a problem that we hadn't made a reservation. The staff were very polite and accommodating and we were shown to a table immediately. We all ordered from the Special menu (each of us having something different) and we all said that... More

Turned up at tea time on New Years eve and found the place to have a nice, pleasant vibe. Intimate seating with lighting to match. Pleasant staff making the atmosphere nice and relaxing. Great home made soup and nice steak with peppercorn sauce. All round enjoyable experience and this will definitely be our restaurant of choice for all our future... More

One member of the party is a fussy eater and requested a tuna jacket potato from the lunch menu however as it was evening we was told we could only order from the even menu. We then asked the waiter to ask the chef would they be able to do a jacket potato. We... More
