A great no, expense spared, transformation of the old Dicconson arms. Lovely staff who knew their stuff and were very attentive. However I just don't get the whole Italian tapas thing. I've spent quite a lot of time in both Italy and Spain and the idea of this hybrid of the two culinary cultures... read more

Recent trip with family. Food was excellent and service good. Our party had a 1 year old and 5 year old and and tapas style food is perfect for them, no waiting for courses to arrive. Really enjoyed the Risotto.

Visit early evening restaurant was not busy. Waiter brought main course as cutlery was put down on starter plate. No time allowance for finishing starter! Dishes not cleared or fresh cutlery brought for main course. Onions in cannaloni not cooked through, lasagne brought out on stone cold dish. Waiter said he would inform chef re onions but the lasagne is... More

went as part of a party of 20 - had the fixed price menu. Food was average, nothing to write home about. Some dishes (brochette) were ok and others were less than I would have expected from a chain with this reputation. I will not be going back

Been to pesto in Trafford and it was ok so I thought this would be the same being a string of cheap and cheerful restaurants. Service wasn't great but it was better than the food. Taking some clients for a meal I should have done my homework. Will not be going again. Uncooked ready made meals without taste. Come on... More

After visiting the Liverpool pesto many times, it was like dining In Italy, the atmosphere was wonderful, the food amazing and everyone was smiling. I couldn't wait to take my partner for the first time and after visiting Liverpool, I did have high expectations. On walking into the restaurant the staff looked up the wall and stressed out, which immediately... More

Family meal. First visit here and we were very impressed. Lovely decor, nice staff, tasty food. Three courses is enough. Portions are a good size. £50 for three including drinks. Well done. Easy to find and lots of parking.

Went for lunch, room not very full. We each chose three dishes for £8.95, quantities were generous and we even left a little because we had had enough. Worth a visit.

Visits pesto with three friends. Had a lovely evening and really enjoyed the tapas which looked like small dishes when they arrived but we're very filling. The restaurant was very busy but this didn't affect the quality of service. We will definitely go back
