Excellent food. Great decor and ambience.

Or first visit for lunch at the newly opened Pesto at The Dicconson Arms at Dangerous Corner, Appley Bridge. Very impressed. Didn't book and were surprised to find it nearly at full capacity on a weekday lunchtime. Warm welcome and quickly shown to a table. 3 tapas dishes for £8.95 is a brilliant... read more

This company treat their staff badly, they expect some employees in the kitchen to work 60 hours plus a week for a pittance of pay....don't go to this Restaurant if you have one once of a humanitarian bone in your body!! I'll never eat here!!!!

Myself and friends go out on a regular basis for something to eat. We decided to try this newly opened Pesto and we were not disappointed at all. There was a great choice of dishes to choose from and it will take a while before we manage to try them all so lots more visits will happen. We were served... More

Went on Saturday with my brother and partners. Booked a table for 3.30pm as on the website it stated that they did a lunch menu of 3 for £8.75. I asked the waitress could we eat off this and she stated they don't have one at the weekend. I said that they do and it's on the webpage. She said... More

Visited today for lunch with a friend - what a great venue and decor! Made to feel really welcome, food and wine excellent, lovely staff and atmosphere - will be returning soon. Seen review from Johnymblack below and must say that I agree with him.

What a fabulous place....just what the area needed. Wonderful restaurant, great Italian tapas washed down with a nice chilled glass of Pinot Grigio. We have dined here in the evening and also for a light lunch and can't wait to go back. Well Done Pesto on a fantastic job.

My wife and I visited on the first Saturday the restaurant was open and were willing to accept some teething problems. No real complaints but no real plaudits either. We like the tapas style of eating but some diners seemed very perplexed. We ordered seven dishes between us - king prawns, chicken skewers, meatballs, potatoes and some which we can't... More

After previously visiting here on the first week of opening and the food and service were really good. I heard about the lunch deal of 3 plates for £8.95 off a friend and thought I would try it out. When I arrived I was seen straight away and led to a table in an almost empty restaurant that was odd... More
