First time for us and we will be back soon !

It was our first visit after a couple of recommendations from friends and family. The evening went like clockwork for us. The restaurant was very busy but our reserved table was ready on time, the food was lovely and the service very good. No reason not to return soon :-)

After visiting a 1st time and having a mixed experience, some friends really wanted to try the new restaurant. I went with an open mind and thought the first experience could have just been a fluke and at the end of the day any new restaurant deserves second chances. I had olives and bread to start which were ok, but... More

Went with a few friends on a Friday night, it was our first time. We couldn't fault it at all, the place was full, but we had amazing service. we had the tapas early meal. It was lovely and the portions we got was great. On hindsight we may next time just have the first one or two of our... More

We visited midweek, and were offered the £8.95 tapas menu, as said in other comments it all comes out at once so there are dishes that a lukewarm by the time you have got to them, also the tables are too small for all the dishes with wine glasses etc on them, gave it a try but doubt we would... This restaurant had been recommended to us by a couple of people as a great Italian restaurant and so my wife and I gave it a try. What a disappointment. The only thing Italian about Pesto is the names of the dishes on the menu. The décor is the old Dicconson Arms painted cream. It is like eating in any... More

Visited on Monday night we were able to get a table no problem but probably best to book on a weekend night. Staff very friendly food excellent could not fault what we had. Tapas sized dishes which is great as you can mix different dishes to share. All well cooked. Will definitely return soon,

Great food and service would recommend. Been here a couple of times now and never had a problem with the food or service. I like the concept, it's something different for the area. Prices are reasonable for what you get. It suited a us as you can eat as little or as much as you want. Keep up the good... More

We have just returned home after going here for my birthday meal with family. We like Pesto restaurants and had heard about this one at the Dicconson Arms, we thought we would give it a go. Would we go again? Absolutely ! We had booked a table because we thought that being a Saturday it would be busy. Very friendly... More
