After recommendations from friends decided to go for lunch on Saturday. We didn't have a booking so were expecting to wait how ever were not very impressed with the attitude of the greeter who obviously thought turning up without booking was a crime. We should have walked out then really. After a 15 minute wait which we did not mind... More

We were recommended Sambuca's by a friend who regularly eats there. We attended at lunchtime, taking advantage of the three course menu for £4.95!!!!! I was impressed with what followed. The food was far better than the likes of Pizza Express in Durham. I will be back

After a Day out in Durham my husband and I ended our day with a meal at Sambuca. The food was super, my husband said that it was the best steak he has eaten in a while. The portion size was decent while the price of the meal is very reasonable. Well worth a visit

I've summed it up in a sentence, we like to vary where we go but I have to say we keep coming back here, especially when we are on a budget..example ...2 adults 3 course meals and 1 children's meal 3 half pint cokes and a coffee £19.50. Slightly limited if you want the special but so what! Minestrone soup... More

To be honest I’ve eaten here a number of times and I’m not sure how they do it...... Everything is so cheap, lunch menu / evening menu, both varied and your spoilt for choice. At this restaurant cheap does not mean poor food. This venue serves restaurant quality food across their entire menu at unbelievable prices. Call in, what have... More

My partner and I have eaten here on many occasions both in the afternoon and on an evening and the food is gorgeous and great values for money. There spaghetti bolognese is the best I've ever tasted, This restaurant is definitely worth trying.

Twenty five minutes to serve my starter after it was ordered. The restaurant was busy, the staff were charming but there's not enough of them to cope. Food when it came was delicious.
