Amazing food ..we go regular never had a bad meal yet . Had chicken margarita absolutely fab . Fiancée had chicken with bbq sauce .. Lots of chips and veg . Great

Called in to take advantage of the ever popular light bite menu and as always it didn't disappoint. The meal was to the usual standard and well worth the money, only downside as always is the not so pleasant older barmaid.

Good was great and the portions massive. Braised steak for me only fault aunt Bessie's yorkshire puds make your own but food tasted great and we will be returning

Nice place to eat ,good food ,fair prices ,good selection of wine and beers .Only down side is ,you cant book a table and at busy times ( Most meals times )you have to wait at the bar to be seated as it really gets busy !

Lovely place for family or lunch with girlfriend. Good portions for healthy appetites. Blackboard menu very reasonable and varied. Proper home made chips. Lovely beer garden at the back child friendly. Can sit and watch trains go by.

This pub has become a regular haunt with us, visiting at least fortnightly if not more often, we manged to get there at 5.30 on Friday so could benefit from the light bite menu (finishes at 6), have to say it was faultless yet again, I had the caramalised onion, brie and bacon ciabatta which came with a huge portion... Phoned here to reserve a table for 11 adults and 4 children and was bluntly told over phone we dont reserve tables and if you turn up we will ask you to leave !!! So needless to say we never went and will never go back !!! We have been to this pub before and your woman behind the bar... More
