Best coffee and cake!

I've now been to Treats a couple of times with friends and love it. They have great coffee and a fantastic selection of cakes. I had their gluten free chocolate brownie yesterday and I think it was the nicest brownie I'd tasted. Will definitely be going back!

This place is how eating out in England was back in the day. The wait staff are all female, by accident or design, who knows. The effect is that you have a group of people who put taking care of the customer first. There is a good selection of food throughout the day. If you have a question about the... More

We visited this lovely little cafe to fuel up for the day on a delicious cooked breakfast. The food was fresh, plentiful, tasty and exceptional value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming- we shall certainly return on our next visit to Durham.

Having visit here before when it was good, this time it was terrible. Advertised scone and butter. When it came with flora we asked for butter"we don't keep butter". We also had to wait half an hour for our order and my French toast & bacon was stinking. Avoid this cafe or risk being disappointed.

Disappointing visit. No toast with all day breakfast despite being asked if we wanted white or brown. Ordered quiche and after paid for food, then told not available. Ordered a second coffee and was charged for it, although menu says coffee refills are free.

I have visited Treats several times before and have always been very impressed by the quality of the food, drink and service. The staff, including the owner, Julie, always make a fuss of me and my guide dog. When I visited today I was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the tables and chairs had been removed to allow... More

A delicious vegetarian breakfast with great service for a fantastic price. Being a fussy eater I asked for a couple of items to be removed from the breakfast and these were replaced with other items. Would recommend for a lovely yet very cheaply priced meal.

We went to Treats for a coffee. It is quite small inside but warm and cosy, just what was needed, it was after all a cold March day!!! Food selection is good, especially the delicious quiche which I would recommend. Friendly, helpful staff, service with a smile. The only downside is it is very busy and you may have to... More
