Tucked away off the main road this is well worth a visit if coffee matters. A quirky decorative style, old sewing machines, eclectic chairs and somewhat crowded, it is best visited out of university term time if you want a seat, full of students and lecturers otherwise. It is the epitome of the modern coffee shop, good coffee, expertly prepared,... More

Cute little place tucked away just off the bridge. I went for coffee one morning and my white chocolate mocha was delicious. Best one I've had. They offer a variety of lunch items and pastries but I resisted temptation. :) Small inside area to sit as well as some tables outside.

Great food here in a quirky setting. Experienced good service and had a tasty salad. There's seating outside but it's on a slope. Quite small inside but comfortable and cool.

Very small so you'll be lucky to find a seat especially when the student are around. But food was great! Lovely cakes and drinks in such a unique area as well away from the bustle of Durham streets!

Flat White is our favorite place in Durham. It has a unique character, which includes good quality food and coffee. The staff is always super-friendly and warm. Everything's homemade and they buy the meat and vegetables from the local market. They update their menu every month depending on the seasonal veggies and fruits. The most recent menu includes cold-brew coffee... More

We were in Durham for our daughter's graduation and went here twice! The coffee and food could not be better and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. If I lived in Durham I might even go there every day!

I have just finished my second flat white .............The first thing I do when I visit a new town or place is search for a good coffee hang out. The first thing I do when I find a good coffee hangout is try their flat white. Imagine my delight two years ago when on an exploratory walk around Durham, I... More
