We visit family in Durham several times a year and rarely do so without a visit to Flat White. It's a great little place with top coffee and top staff.

Flat White is Durham's most attractive cafe - but the good experience doesn't stop there. A wide ranging drinks menu and delicious cakes will keep any cafe lover coming back for more. The service is top notch too!

Lovely little cafe in Durham. The hot chocolate, with whipped cream and marshmallows and the rocky road cake is delicious! Always very busy and often it's very hard to find a seat as they're all taken! Great food, good atmosphere and it has a lovely interior! Would definitely recommend it! It is a favourite amongst students and tutors!

A pleasant visit to a lovely cafe in the heart of Durham. Although small, the staff moved tables for us so that we could park our pram. We ordered a couple of sandwiches, the breads and ingredients were very high quality and the choice was good. We had a couple of chicken pesto sandwich which were fresh and delicious :)))... More

Popped in for a sandwich after reading all the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Great food and lovely staff. They don't take cards, so make sure you go with cash.

Tucked away off the main road this is well worth a visit if coffee matters. A quirky decorative style, old sewing machines, eclectic chairs and somewhat crowded, it is best visited out of university term time if you want a seat, full of students and lecturers otherwise. It is the epitome of the modern coffee shop, good coffee, expertly prepared,... More

Cute little place tucked away just off the bridge. I went for coffee one morning and my white chocolate mocha was delicious. Best one I've had. They offer a variety of lunch items and pastries but I resisted temptation. :) Small inside area to sit as well as some tables outside.

Great food here in a quirky setting. Experienced good service and had a tasty salad. There's seating outside but it's on a slope. Quite small inside but comfortable and cool.
