Hidden gem.

Nice staff, great atmosphere, good fresh food, the only downside is it's cash only... so visit the cash point before you go.

A little overpriced and overrated I must say, there are better coffee shops in Durham City with more space, friendly more helpful staff and better coffee and this establishment is so NOT wheelchair friendly inside or out.

Having spent the previous day in Whitby, where there were no decent coffee shops, it was a joy to find Flat White in Durham to feed our addiction for good artisan coffee. The surroundings were eclectic and fun and the whole place had a relaxed feel with everyone we saw enjoying their coffee and food either inside or at the... More

What a lovely hidden gem of a cafe with higgledy piggledy tables and chairs outside, delicious coffee and white chocolate blonde was really yummy! A lovely way to rest and chill out in a beautiful setting.

Still the best coffee and cake in Durham. Meals looked delicious too. Quirky atmosphere and you can sit outside too. Next time I'm stoping for lunch.

After hiking my things around all day, I couldn't go any further and Flat white was where I landed. After already having my lunch a few hours earlier in another cafe, I wasn't really hungry so it was just a coffee for me, and although it was in my hands fast, it wasn't tasty at all. I left the cup... More

Especially nice in the morning! A bit hidden near elven bridge but just about the best coffee in town and very friendly staff! Also, very lovely plates and cups as well as just a very relaxed and welcoming flair. It can get quite busy at times, so the earlier you come the better :)

A friend took me here and what a lovely surprise. Lovely quickly coffee shop in the center of Durham very friendly staff. The sandwich was just amazing i didn't have room for any cake but it all looked lovely. I don't think £5.00 for such a sandwich is too much when you can pay not much less for something awful... I have been wanting to try this cafe for a while and I was not disappointed. Had to wait for a table inside as it was so busy. We all had breakfast and it was delicious, lovely coffee and friendly staff

Quite pricey in comparison to other coffee shops in durham, but you will not be left with a disappointment. One of the best coffee i have tasted to be honest (creamy type) Can be a bit crowded so maybe its best to come early on a busy day. Did not try the food, but the cake selection looks good nice...
