We came here for Sunday lunch and did not have a good experience. First of all we ordered drinks at the bar and I was short changed. I told the bar man and he gave me the money straight away but it's still an awkward situation. When we were seated at our table we were given some menus and then... More

Hello readers One thing is you cannot complain about the food. Me and two friends went last Saturday for a bar meal. I am on a crutch and the way in was a bit tricky. Sat down and a waitress duly arrived. A couple of items listed were not available which surprised me as it was only 7pm. Downside...I am... More

My husband and I love this place, he takes a paper and I a book, peace and quiet. Lovely fresh homemade food and very efficient service, we like to use this little gem whenever we can. Have visited over the years and seen vast changes but all for the best.

Went here as a group of 10 for a birthday lunch, most staff were nice although service was quite slow. We had to leave urgently while the others were staying for dessert so my husband went to the bar to settle the bill and was told to return to the table where the waitress would settle it despite saying we... Last night I visited this pub for my father's 70th Birthday with my family. Food was brilliant but was let down as it have no wheelchair accessible toilet I could even get my wheelchair into ladies toilet as the door didn't open enough. So it spoilt the night me.

Went with friends for the third time on Saturday 21 June 2014. For a pub/restaurant which bosts that it has a fully stocked bar it was disappointing to discover that they had no real ale available. Why !!! We then struggled to really pick something from the menu. We did & some of us were happy with our choice but... More

We have eaten Sunday lunch here for 6 out of the past 7 weeks and I have to say it is consistently excellent though not the cheapest around. My wife is recovering from an operation so we have been eating out on Sundays more than usual and the reason we keep returning here is that we always know what to... More

Have been going here for quite a few years and it's has gone downhill unfortunately. Ate here on a Friday night with family as a leaving night before I go away for a while. For starters the scollops and the lamb salad was delicious however another member of the party had the goats cheese panna cotta which was dreadful, the... More
