had specifically sought out this place due to being vegan, wasnt sure if it was doggie friendly as i couldnt find anywhere if it was or not. ITS NOT...when i asked they flattly refused even though it was 1 hour from closing and they had no customers at all???..i would of thought with a limited customer base to start with... More

As a vegetarian its rare for me to find a variety in a menu for me to choose from. I saw a sign that said they catered for veggies, and I must say the choice was extensive. Visited for breakfast whilst on holiday ...wonderfull food fabulous host and good value for money x My kids aged 15 and 7 also loved it ...plenty of choice all cooked from fresh .

Went for breakfast today. Nice mushrooms properly fried with pine nuts and poached eggs was great. Staff accommodating and very pleasant. Really good value too.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and cake and had a really nice cappuccino (with soya milk) and vegan coffee and pecan cake with an amazing raspberry coulis, which I thought would be strange, but it was a very good combination. I will go here again when I am in Barnstaple.

The owner makes all the cakes and most of the rest on the premises, so everything is fresh. All produce is lacto-ovo vegetarian as a minimum, but vegan and gluten-free options are always available.
