New Year Eve Dinner.

We arrived as a party of 12, all at various times. We were quickly shown our table and served drinks. The food didn't take long to arrive, and was of a good standard. No one in the party complained or had any problems with their food. The staff who served us were polite, courteous and professional... read more

Visited this establishment many times in the past, on this occasion there was a large group of us, we pre ordered our meals for ease on the night. We were greeted on arrival and drinks service was efficient. However when our meals arrived many of the dishes were incorrect. The staff did offer to correct our dishes but as a... More

We arrived a little bit early so we were taken through to the bar to view the menu and have a drink. Within 5 minutes the waitress was back and took us through to our table. The service throughout our meal was excellent - not too invasive, but always available. We ordered the macaroni cheese, gammon and steak and all... More

Our table was booked for 18.00 and we arrived 2 minutes early to be told they didn't open until 18.00 and we would have to wait in the bar next door. When we did get to our table I have to say that the food was superb. We all enjoyed everything we had and it was well presented. Unfortunately our... More

After my last experience at the bank I didn't want to go back, but it was booked for our work Christmas meal so I didn't have much choice. I chose soup of the day to start, generally I love the soup here and next door in the hotel (I know it's the same soup of the day) this was not... More

Lovely atmosphere and great service. The food is presented well and tastes nice. We went in around 8.45 thinking they may have stopped serving due to it being a Thursday but were informed they serve until 10pm. We will definitely remember this for next time after an early trip to the cinema. Well done Brend Hotels, this another nice establishment.

Just had a meal this evening with friends at The Bank, a place we have visited as locals many times before. To say the food and service was poor is an understatement! Firstly as a table of 8 we were initially squashed onto a table of 6 before saying it was not really acceptable and eventually another table was added... More

Distinctly below average and we were seated in the hotel section not 62 the bank & had to wait an hour before our table was available. This was due to us being the second/third service i imagine. 10 out of our party of 25 felt unwell after eating here, 4 had an upset stomach/sickness bugs, maybe coincidence but who knows.... More

This was the third year we'd taken the extended family out for dinner here, as we were staying nearby. We just felt that the staff were not so experienced or flexible to our preferences on this occasion. And I never know why we always get "put" out the back? All in all the food between us was good, yet not... More
