It's the first time I've been here but my partner recommended it as he'd been a few times. I wasn't disappointed! We both opted for the steak and mushroom pie, it was absolutely delicious and very filling without being too much! We sat outside in the heated patio area afterwards which was great. I didn't get our waitress' name but... More

We stopped here for an evening meal. Great oldie world pub, superb selection of ales and beers. Food was plentiful and hot and whilst not the best tasting we've ever had it was nice and very reasonably priced too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great food. Amazing view from the beer garden. Very cozy with candlelit tables inside and out. Great ambiance and friendly staff.

We'd seen this place mentioned a few times in the visitors' book of our farmhouse and we were not disappointed. We had called to reserve a table but were told that although the upstairs restaurant was fully booked, they did not take reservations for either the downstairs bar area or for the outside tables. We manage to bag a table... More

We arrived at the Masons arms and although we had booked it seemed very busy, so I was worried we were going to be crammed into a busy room on a small table. However I was very wrong. We were taken upstairs to a small but well spaced dining room, which was quiet with a lovely ambience and great scenic... More

We visited this restaurant on only one evening of our weeks stay but wished we had come more often. We enjoyed having some nice fresh vegetables with our roast meals and this makes a pleasant change these days. The food was great and the service was non intrusive but very effective and efficient, would go back again and recommend you... More

Great meal with the family. This place gets very busy so be warned and book well in advance! We ate early at 6.30 and had no problem getting a table then but it soon filled up. Staff were super polite and friendly and the food was fab, good size portions and good value. We came here on a recommendation and... More

Went along for a birthday meal and everyone enjoyed everything :-) I had the belly pork with boulengaire potatoes and braised red cabbage followed by strawberry meringue. The belly pork was well seasoned and cooked perfectly with THE best crackling I've tasted. The braised cabbage was sweet and slightly acidic which was a good combination with the richness of the...
