Nice pub ! Staff not too friendly ! Farmhouse grill was expensive and the quality of the meat was cheap , extremely fatty and definitely not worth £15 On the other hand The burgers my husband said were really nice Would go in again , but most probably just for a drink next time

Ordered a t bone steak for two, we were absolutely starving and desperate for a good steak! Seemed a bargain for £18.95 including sticky toffees pudding! Should of been put off by the lack of homemade real chips! Asked for medium rare but should if asked for blue when the steak and chips arrived on a red hot skillet still... More

My husband and I made a brief stop at this pub - the staff were very friendly and the cask ales were delish! The music was great and the pub had an amazing atmosphere! We didn't have food but the place was packed full of locals wanting their usuals - which is always a good sign! Highly recommended!

Lovely fillet steak and trimmings at very competitive price. Pub grub but nice relaxed surroundings and very pleasant service.

Spent some of the afternoon in here and it was nice being a real pub pub not like these modern establishments you get these days. Very welcoming and relaxing

We ate here one Thursday lunchtime . The staff were welcoming and it was just right. The food was very tasty and not too expensive. I had scampi and my husband has the half chicken which he raved about.

Nice place if you want a quiet drink, the complete opposite of The Albert. But it is quite small for places to sit.

We only choose to eat here as it was close to the car park and it was raining! However we were glad we did. The service was great, and the choice was good and our order came very quickly. Very traditional pub food, fish and chips, sausage and mash, great! Great value and I would certainly use again.
