We looked at this place a few times during our stay in bowness, but the shutters were always down, giving the impression the place was closed. We visited yesterday for the first time and will definitely be back. Great coffee and the raspberry scone with jam and cream was absolutely delicious. Our children had milkshakes which they said were fantastic. The lemon meringue pie was out of this world. All the cakes are homemade and there was a massive choice. A lovely little cafe, very compact & well worth a visit. Very friendly staff. Great selection of homemade cakes & food. Recommend the jacket spuds, homemade soup & lemon meringue pie. Will definitely make a return trip or two!! Also dog friendly & a window seat where you can watch the world go by! What more could you ask for?!
