Refreshing Stop

We called into Cafe Latte to get warm after a cruise on the Lake. It is very compact inside with only a handful of tables which are very close together. There was a good selection of cakes to choose from all of which were homemade. The lemon and ginger cake was tasty as was the raspberry and... read more

We popped in here for a quick drink and a piece of cake. Appearances are definitely deceiving, although it looks a lovely quaint little tea shop. We found the staff rude and very unhelpful. There are many a sign dotted around asking you to 'PLEASE DO NOT'....move tables, touch the window, place the towels in the bin, allow dogs on... More

We popped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Initially the cafe was empty but it soon filled up. It's rather small inside so at times it felt like we sat on other people's laps (people had to get up out of their chairs to let others in / out of the main door or to go the toilet). However,... We popped in here for a nice sit down and a drink, I had a cup of tea and a scone and my wife had a latte, my tea was tasteless, the scone was dry, came with raspberry jam not strawberry, a small portion of synthetic crean and the scone was hard and dry, give this place a miss

Visited today with family. Lovely atmosphere, well decorated and friendly staff. Sampled a wide selection of the menu, including soup, jacket potato's, lemon meringue & scones. All home made, top quality and good portions. The scones were delicious, even took 4 home for tea! Very reasonably priced and can't wait to return next time we are in the area.

I purchased 3 hot drinks to take away from Cafe Latte on the afternoon of November 1st at a cost of £7.90. I was one of 3 adults (1 of whom was a senior citizen) and we had 2 children with us. Just as we were leaving the shop, it started raining quite heavily so as there was seating available... More
