Warm fresh large cherry scone (I always ask if they are freshly baked today), homemade strawberry jam and CLOTTED cream (why don't all tea shops know to do this), plus a generous pot of tea 4.99 pounds. Fantastic!

Really friendly people, a lovely salad and a box of toys for the small human! The food was promptly delivered and there was a delicious looking selection of cakes. The cafe wasn't crowded despite being relatively close to lunch time.

Well we stubbled across Steve and his wonderful Tearoom looking for the Post -Office for the mother in law (Grinch) and we found the Best Tea room around. Steve was so so friendly and him and the staff couldn,t have been more helpful. The food was beautifully cooked (all home made) and the Omelete was cooked to perfection. We made... More

A wonderful spot for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea - offers a takeaway service too! Baby changing facilities were spot on along with having a very comfy high chair. The food was home made and delicious. Great range of cakes and savoury options. Free juice for children. Central location with indoor and outdoor seating xx

We live local to this cafe but had not visited for a while after a couple of disappointing experiences re service from the previous owner. We called in with friends who had come to visit us to see how the new owners were running things. We were really pleased to find the new owners had improved on service and the... More

We found this little gem of a restaurant/cafe which is off the main thoroughfare in Bowness whilst looking for somewhere to have an early lunch. Very welcoming staff and, of course, bring your dog in! They do have tables outside as well but we chose to sit in because there were 4 of us and tables outside were twos and... More
