Lovely, warm welcome from the owner when we arrived. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The home made soup was delicious. Lovely selection of cakes & fantastic coffee. A little gem. Will definitely go back next time we are in Windermere.

Lovely little tea rooms, staff very friendly, and nothing too much trouble. Sandwiches and hotpot well worth trying, and home made cakes to die for.

Brilliant. Such a warm and welcoming tearoom. The owner and staff were so friendly. Food was the best I've had in a long time just good honest food. Hotpot was just what I needed on a cold winters day. Cannot fault such a wonderful tearoom. I will definitely be returning.

Dropped in for lunch following seeing good reviews for this place. Very glad we did, from the second we walked in till we left the staff were very attentive and smiley. They were helpful and actually seemed to want to be there, which you don't see very often. The food was lovely, a bit pricey for just and sandwich, however... More

My wife and I were on the Lake Windermere pop-on-pop-off ferry excursion and had about an hour in Bowness at lunch time. Fortunately we stumbled on the St. Martin Tea Room! The place is warm, cozy, accommodating, and has great food! We we're amazed at the quality and quantity of our salads and soup. The delicious and piping hot tomato... More

My husband, our 4 month old son and I went in search of a quaint little tearoom with homemade cake, as it was a birthday treat for me I didn't want anything out of a packet. My husband found this tearoom on here and what a find it was. The tearoom is set behind St Martins church, a picturesque little... More

We like our t-rooms and came across this one by chance. We were a party of 5, but we easily seated around a table set for 4. Lovely feel to the place, with lots of bone china and tea pots. We decided to order toasties and were a little taken aback at the cost, but proceeded with the order anyway.... More
