Wow!

Found this tea room on trip advisor and what a find! Great service, very friendly, nothing to much trouble and fab food and cakes. We have a variety of salads, sandwiches, soup and mouth watering cakes. You won't be dissapointed, definately the best tea room in Bowness.

My girlfriend took me for a surprise birthday treat at this amazing place, with freshly baked, super tasty scones and cakes it was difficult to leave! The owner made us very welcome, and even appeared with a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with a candle to mark the occasion! The cake more than made up for the singing! Seriously we... More

We made a beeline for this tea rooms based on the reviews. We had already decided on tea and cake before we went in. The choice of food and cake was excellent. My disappointment was being told it was extra to have peppermint tea as part of their cream tea option.

Tucked away on a quiet little street, this is a super tea room serving delicious home cooked food - of which there is plenty to choose from. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the prices are most reasonable. As someone else has pointed out, the tea is served in proper china cups - lovely! We have been here... More

My boyfriend and I wanted a coffee in a lovely coffee shop that wasn't a chain. Somewhere with soul. It was absolutely lovely and exceeded expectations. We ordered a coffee and a tea with an award winning slice of limoncello cake, which was gorgeous, homemade and sizable! The cups were fine bone china. This made a nice change to drink from... More

The positive reviews are well deserved. Based on these, I had brunch at St Martins Tearoom with my wife & children. We received a very warm welcome by the owners. The food (all day breakfast sandwiches with salad, gorgeous homemade soup followed by homemade cakes & pots of tea & coffee) was very well presented, with generous portions & excellent... More

This really is a 'hidden gem' well worth finding when in Bowness. Excellent home made food, well presented, attentive service and nothing is too much trouble. This was the second time we've visited this excellent tea room and it certainly won't be the last! We highly recommend it!

Lovely, warm welcome from the owner when we arrived. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The home made soup was delicious. Lovely selection of cakes & fantastic coffee. A little gem. Will definitely go back next time we are in Windermere.

Lovely little tea rooms, staff very friendly, and nothing too much trouble. Sandwiches and hotpot well worth trying, and home made cakes to die for.
