Service with a smile. Good selection of food and very generous size portions. Small but not crowded with outside tables

Lovely British Breakfast, friendly welcoming staff, accommodating to specific requests (fussy coffee connoisseur, lol). Plain and simple menu but you know what you are getting. Lovely lasagna - but bit on the small side for the price.

A family run, cosy café/restaurant which does a superb breakfast. All of the food is of the highest quality and freshly cooked. Friendly staff and very polite. Although not the cheapest it is worth the bit extra for the excellent food. Highly recommended.

Wow, this is an amazing little find on the lanes at Bowness. Afternoon tea was £8,95 but wow what a portion. Sandwiches of your choice, homemade cake, homemade scones, jam and cream. We were so stuffed that we needed so tea! The owner was a treasure, so welcoming. Loved it x

Stopped here for a coffee and cake after spending a lovely day at the shops. The staff were very friendly and the carrot cake was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning here.

The owner even offered to top up the tea pot with... More

We went here for a late lunch (after having a poor experience earlier in the day at Bryson's Tea Room across the road). Friendly service, and nice food, a good spot to stop.

We loved this place, only got a chance to visit twice during our holiday but well worth while and we will be back. Lovely warm welcome from such friendly owners and the beautiful home cooked food was the best we had all week especially the black pudding which is the best I've ever tasted. They really looked after our autistic... More

An unassuming little venue that we popped into for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. We both had the pea, pear and mint soup which was absolutely delicious...so much so that I asked for the recipe. The Caribbean coffee contained a generous shot of rum and a lovely topping of fresh cream. The menu was very appetising but... More
