Have dined here quite a few times but on a few visits found it closed? On our last visit however it seemed to be business as usual and we had a lovely lunch. The owner is very friendly, makes you feel very welcome.

Found this place by default as most cafés were closed late afternoon Sunday, so a bit of a life-saver (hungry 9-yr-old boy in tow!). Owners were happy to stay open until we'd finished and we didn't feel any pressure to hurry. Major bonus was excellent food + very friendly and helpful service. We had baked potatoes - arrived with tasty... More

We visited here at lunchtime, the owner was more than accommodating as we had a pushchair and the place isn't huge! Get there early! The menu is wide ranging and very reasonable, we had a mixture of hot and cold meals. Everyone was very satisfied. Would definitely visit again.

Up a side street but well worth looking at. Jacket potato and roast beer crusty rolls were fresh and tasty. Service was excellent. Nice to see cheerful staff

Very clean and very friendly staff. Food was hot and freshly cooked. They even gave our daughter bread to feed the ducks! We'll definitely return on our next visit to Bowness.

Messing about on the water with friends for the bank holiday, so looking for a hearty breakfast. All good, three of us had a full English with my friends wife having a black pudding option, all lovely. Popping hot tea and toast.........yum. We will return.

We visited Bowness as part of a 5 day family trip to The Lakes and after a pleasant boat trip here from Waterhead Pier, we were ready for some lunch! After walking past many great looking places, we stumbled upon Two Eggcups down a quaint street and were attracted to how small and busy it looked. As a convoy of... More
