Interior design by Kirsty Allsop on acid with a credit account at Wilkinsons. Reminds me of a tacky 90's gay bar. Easily the most expensive draft beer in both Bowness and Windermere, and cheekily so. I've lived here for 25 years and I've never seen the place looking so tasteless and ill-fitting the ambience of the village. It's become a... More

This restaurant was brilliant. Incredibly tasty food, a little more expensive but well worth it. The venue was very modern and had a great atmosphere. The cocktails were brilliant. The staff were very friendly even though they were busy but their organisation was brilliant.

We went out for dinner with my parents in the evening before my wedding. It was a fantastic choice of restaurant. We walked past and booked at 6:40 pm for a booking for 7:00pm. It was a great move. The restaurant was full and the food and service was very good. I would have scored the restaurant higher had I... More

What a beautiful restaurant. Called in just for a drink and liked the place that much we stayed for a meal. As we were waiting I looked at it on Trip Advisor and couldn't believe the bad reviews it had received. From start to finish, from bar staff to restaurant staff was perfect. I had belly pork to start and... More

ate here mid week - ordered the 12oz steak and was it was over cooked and tough so we sent it back to be told the chef had cut through it with "our" knife - the staff were very unhelpful and very unconcerned with our issues - overall the service was very very slow - we were very disappointed as... For the price the food is excellent. The menu is imaginative and interesting and the flavours are superb. The wine menu descriptions are accurate. If you want to do justice to dessert share it with a friend. The portion size is enormous. The hanging kebabs have beautifully marinated meat and are particularly worth trying.
