Decent Food.

Had a nice meal here, wasn't impressed with service at the bar I have to say, left me standing a good while before serving me. waiters in restaurant were very attentive though. All in all it was decent enough.

Called in for a coffee Saturday morning. whilst the place was reserved for a private party , we were still welcomed in and advised of the timescale. Lovely place, very different, beautiful decoration. Staff helpful and attentive for the time we were there. Prices very reasonable for such a great venue. Would def return

We called at the Village on a sunny day and sat outside. The seating area outside at the front of the bar is really nice and welcoming. The choice of cocktails are great, but it does take a while to get served. The price of the cocktails are rather expensive, but I really enjoyed the espresso martini! The youngest member... More

Having wandered the streets of Bowness assessing eateries, we decided on the Village Inn Bar and Grill. We had to wait for a table for around 15 minutes, which wasn't a problem as it gave us opportunity to look through the menu without any pressure. When we were shown to our table, we were very pleased with the atmosphere and... More

We popped in on a Friday night on the off chance of finding a seat in what we thought looked like a welcoming pub. Really glad we did as the staff and clientele quickly made us feel welcome and the food was absolutely delicious. Nothing fancy but cosy surroundings and really nice, good old fashioned pub grub. Think we'll be... More

Went here and the food was extremely greasy. Stomach in bits that evening and the following day. Place outside where we sat smelt of urine as well as other visitors smoking. Not something you want when eating. Will not go back again.
