This must be one of the most popular restaurants in Bowness. Very trendy and a huge waiting list almost every night. But worth it food was really good.

Just left said establishment to say it's a joke is an understatement. My partner ordered seafood spaghetti and I ordered the simple roast beef sandwich board on the special menu... Shown on every screen throughout the establishment After 20 minutes wait I was advised there was no beef... So reacting to the immediate situation I looked at the special board(photo... More

Visited for lunch and a pint. We both had sandwiches which were hearty and filling also priced reasonably. Decent beers on tap and extra large wine glasses. Staff were a bit slow but we were in no rush so wasn't a problem for us. Would go again.

My wife and I visited here for a drink while on a visit to the lakes. We found the staff very helpful and accommodating they served us promptly in very clean and impressive surroundings and the log burner kept us warm wile we played noughts and crosses on jumbo boards on the table. worth supporting thank you.

Stopped for lunch on a miserable wet day in Bowness. Decor is beautiful and tables laid immaculately. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Food reasonably priced and excellent quality. Would definitely visit again.

After arriving in Windermere in the evening we did not really know where to eat. We then came across this place and were not disappointed. The portion sizes were huge! Could not eat it all, the food was tasty and hot. Reasonably priced and the waiter was friendly! We will be returning on our next visit to Windermere.

We have eaten here before & enjoyed it, but this time we were not impressed. The service was very slow & when our food did finally arrive, it was partly cold and the BLT sourdough roll was barely edible due to being rock hard! The garlic bread we ordered never arrived, although it was on the bill!! The waiter did... More
