Visited this restaurant twice in three days and the food was excellent. Our waitress, a romanian girl, on Saturday 12th, was so friendly and helpful that we went back a 2nd time! Food was quite slow at coming back totally worth it. Would highly recommend it.

We have called here for lunch on our last few visits to the lakes and would thoroughly recommend it. The menu gives a great choice of imaginative food and offers dishes you don't find in many restaurants up here. I chose Lancashire hot pot which was fantastic! Great value and reasonably priced. Service was really good too. Superb meal!

Food was excellent, served quickly. We were seated upstairs and it was quiet and relaxed. Had a pulled pork burger which was really tasty. Definitely recommend Hylton's.

I was tempted by the description of the Baby Back Ribs on the menu board outside. So we ventured in. On ordering I asked to swap the corn-on-the-cob for a few onion rings. The waitress snapped that I could order onion rings as a side dish whilst looking at me as it I were a naughty child. BAD START! On... More

Looked nice from the outside, but lacked atmosphere on the inside, and the staff were not overly welcoming. We ate in the evening, was quite quiet. Looked busier the next daytime. Food was really good, quick service. Ribs were absolutely delicious. Would try this place again. (But wouldn't drink the rose wine again... it wasn't the nicest!!)

We had to wait for a table, but no more than 10 minutes, and it was a Saturday night. We were promptly shown to a table once it became free, passed a menu and were told of the daily specials, we shared a basket of artisan bread with oil and balsamic, along with a mixed bowl of olives for starters, and... I went in for the first time with my family and I ordered a simple carbonara. It was swimming in grease and there was more fat than bacon and when I told the waiter the reason I didn't eat it he shrugged and still charged me full price. That was the first and last time I will be going there.

We had lunch at this restaurant on our mini moon and we were promptly shown to a table. It was only half full so we were served promptly. I ordered the American pulled pork bun and my husband had the fish deal. The fish deal was chips, fish, peas and a cup of tea which for £9.25 is a really... More
