Couldn't do enough for us

I Popped in during the day to enquire about any vegan options. The lovely lady assured me they would rustle something up. We booked a table for 8pm. When we arrived it was very busy. However the service was excellent. They checked allbi gredients for me and made me a fabulous meal. Can't wait to... read more

Visited here after noticing online that their menu offered lots of gluten free choices and was not disappointed. May partner and I both opted for a pasta dish (mine GF, his "normal) and both thoroughly enjoyed our main courses. Just the right size portion leaving room for desserts...Eton Mess and Creme Brulle, again most enjoyable. Lovely selection of drinks available... More

We were looking forward to our meal having read other reviews but sadly disappointed on most fronts. We're actually easy to please and love to praise... we experience a huge variety of eating spots throughout the country... this just not a good one for us. This is genuine feedback rather than personal criticism! Undercooked (definitely... not preference... just undercooked) aubergine... More

Thank you for your feedback. I think that our numerous four and five star reviews speak for themselves. Most of our reviewers seem impressed with our food quality, freshness and value. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your visit to Fat Olives although it is difficult in your long review to pinpoint what exactly was the problem. Our... More

Tied the visit to this restaurant in with a cinema visit. Book your table beforehand, it's gets very busy. The menu is one of the best I have seen that easily identifies gluten free choices. Service very good too and very nice staff.

Passed it many times but first time I'd tried it out. A pretty eclectic menu and the large tapas plate with half a litre of wine proved to be a good value choice. It offers attractive, early dinner specials and cinema ticket/meal deals (the cinema is just up the road). The sticky toffee pudding came with squirty cream and ice... More

Lovely food and service just as we remember. Very accommodating hosts. Will be back when we are in the area again. Only one of a few places open early evening for people who like to eat early evening.
