This was a great find and some of the best fish and chips we have had in a long time. Fresh and dwarves quickly. The batter was crispy, not too greasey and the fish lightly cooked. We... More

Having previously tried the fish and chips elsewhere and been disappointed we came upon Seafarers purely by chance while out exploring the area and decided to give them a go, well we were certainly not disappointed this time round, the food is cooked freshly to order, the fish was well cooked with a light crispy batter and lovely thick and... Ordered cod and chips and whilst it was freshly cooked, I was left slightly disappointed. The fish was really small but the chips were a decent size for a tourist trap. Back home, my local chippy serves a fish the size of a whale and chips that must take a full 5lb bag to make. For that reason I'm spoilt,... More

This is the best place for fish and chips in the area. I live not far away where there are nearer chip shops but will travel to get them here. Not only is the food good but the service is excellent as well.

After the attempt to get served at the terrible establishment v Jones just down the road, came here, Seafarers. The food was very well done and delicious and the service was great from such a lovely friendly and respectful owner. I would highly recommend this place, when you come to Bowness and want fish and chips, you won't find anywhere... More

We had an extended journey 150 miles due to traffic jams ...ready for a quick hot dinner ... we always return to this chippy - friendly staff and freshly prepared food to order. Sadly no haddock available - but 3x tasty cod and chips arrived within a few minutes ...reasonably priced for the area and delicious ... many thanks for... More

A nice portion, good chips and fish was cooked to order. I recommend going here if you are looking at staying in for the night instead of eating out.
