Steak was well cooked but the peppercorn sauce was too watery. The mushrooms as a starter was really bland, my husband had the lamb shank which he thought was really nice. We had dirty plates at the table 10 minutes before they cleared them.

Visited at the weekend with the other half. Have visited in the past but this is the first time since the place has been done up. All in all I think that this place has many strengths. The waiting on staff, though young, are really good and attentive. In the main, the food is cooked well. I had the pork... More

We went as a group of 8 friends to Brunswicks to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the meals were outstanding.

Went here for a colleagues retirement meal. Although not a large restaurant they managed to sit all 23 of us around one table. The staff were very attentive, the food was excellent and served with no delays (we did pre order). Atmosphere was great and location is good too, close to the town centre and also to some smaller local... More

I went for my birthday, having been recommended by friends. The food was lovely, nothing to complain about, and the service was quick. The only slight downsides is that I did feel rushed as the food was served very quickly once the party was seated, not giving me any time to open any cards or presents I had. I was... More

Good food, good service, reasonable price, what more can anyone want. The staff are polite and attentive without constantly asking if you want anything else. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

OK not Brideshead but a charming restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme, it had been quite a few months since our first visit when we really enjoyed the food, the service and the place but found it very noisy too. Well time to try it again but an early booking of 6.15 this time, not just to catch the quieter period but as... More

Both my husband and I visited Brunswick's on The Friday before Mothers day with my grandson and his girlfriend and had a great night, The food was excellent. The Staff and Manageress were polite, friendly and attentive, which in my mind makes a good Restaurant silver service or not (manner's cost nothing). I was a Waitress myself for many years... More
