Wish I went more often

Not a massive restaurant so can be tricky to book, they don't have a website and only open in the evening. If you do manage a visit you won't be disappointed as the food is always excellent. I just wish it was easier to book so I could go more often!

Me and my partner went here for a Special occasion, I had not been before so was looking forward to go, as I've heard such good things. I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant itself is lovely inside, cosy and welcoming, so were the staff. I had the duck with black cherry sauce and my partner had rump steak and to quote... More

What a pleasure it is to find such a lovely restaurant, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town. Attentive but unobtrusive service, excellent food and superb wine. No more to be said.

I have been here on numerous occasions with different people .. Girlfriends..family Always nice food .. Personal service .. You have to wait a little while but that's because the food is cooked fresh and not out of a microwave .... Again it is reasonable priced

Just returned home from a night out at Marloes with friends, have to say the food was delicious and the surroundings were nice, unfortunately this was let down by the staff if you like service with a smile you will be disappointed and we were left with the feeling of being an inconvenience, when paying for the bill no change... I'm not sure where you'd rather eat "nick s from stoke on Trent" but the reason you wait for food at Marloes is that it's home made & cooked fresh not pre bought and warmed up! Other places such as Orange Tree, Wayfarer, Miller & Carter (which I do visit & enjoy) you pay more money for a fillet steak... More

Marloes is right at the top of the list of places to dine for anyone who appreciates quality food. My wife and I plus family and friends have been going to Marloes for many years, and not one of us have ever had reason to complain or been dissatisfied with the food or service. We have already booked for several... More
