Visited the restaurant in September 2014 in a large group for a friend's birthday. The table was booked for 7 and on arrival we were told that we needed to vacate the table by 9 which I found rude. The drinks were ridiculously overpriced, £6 for a vodka and coke. The orders were taken quickly by harassed looking staff who... More

I have been to this restaurant several times and it continues to offer good value in a friendly atmosphere. on this occasion I met a friend for a midweek catch up. On arrival I was greeted pleasantly and shown promptly to a table where my friend was waiting. Drinks were offered straight away and we were allowed plenty of time... More

A lovely restaurant with a great menu. There is a good choice of pasta and pizza dishes and an excellent choice of other dishes including steaks and fish. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We never feel rushed and always have an excellent meal.

Had dinner here with my two (grown-up) kids this last week. We've been here many times before and I've always found it very good. The only down-side of this place is the size of the menu - It is absolutely huge and to be honest, a little daunting. I always feel quite stressed until I've finally decided on my choice.... More

We decided to visit the Pasta Di Piazza on a recommendation! Saturday night the restaurant was busy, there was plenty of staff. Food was ok, it arrived hot and well presented. No one asked how our food was, we had to get the attention of a staff member to order more drinks. We noticed other guests in the restaurant receiving... More

There were about 25 of us and all our meals were bought out in really good time, with no individuals waiting so we were all eating at the same time. Service was exceptional considering the size of our party, love this place!

I am very disappointed to say that the standard of food delivered to both the lady I was dining with and myself was totally sub-standard at a time where the restaurant was at very low capacity utilisation. We ordered a sea food risotto £12.99, and a Calzone £12.99. I have worked in restaurants as a sous-chef and waiter for 6... More

We have been a few times as a family of 4, good quality food, good value not expensive. Would be better if there was some competition though of Italian restaurants in Newcastle. I prefer this to the stone place

We had a table for 26 and they had no problems accommodating us. We waited a reasonable amount of time for our food and every course was delivered promptly, nobody had to wait. The quality of the food is just fantastic, I cannot fault it whatsoever. Not one of my 25 colleagues had a bad word to say. Definitely one... More

Sometimes its busy sometimes its dead but the food is always lovely, love the minestrone soup and the lasagne...always had good service and great food, I prefer the one in Stone purely due to the fact that the outside area is nicer....
