I can't believe I've lived in the area for almost 9 years and haven't been here yet! A friend recommended it, as the options for a Sunday evening meal in Wetherby were very limited. The baby back ribs starter was delicious, and I was wishing I had ordered the full rack dinner. This is the first restaurant I've found that... More

Met family there for an early tea with the kids. Wonderful prawn rice (didn't find much crab in it!), great ribs for the kids, salad looked good as did the fish and chips which were huge! Nice atmosphere, no probs with having kids there, overall a lovely evening.

We arrived at 1pm having booked a table and were promptly seated. Good pint of Black Sheep and menus were on the table. No sooner had we sat down when we were asked for our order. We asked the waitress if she could give us 5 mins as we had only just sat down and after waiting 20 asked if... More

I popped into the Scotts Arms for a drink and a sandwich on Saturday 26th July. As it was so hot and sunny we decided to eat outside on the tables and chairs on the grassed area across the carpark. We had been there about 10 mins when about 10 girls riding horses turned up. They proceded to bring there... More

Love love love this beautiful country pub. Have been coming for years and as of yet has never disappointed. Food is good quality, excellent choice something for everyone and always have a selection of tasty specials to choose from. Brought some friends here who had come up from burton on Trent and they loved It as well. It's not cheap... More

Called in for lunch on a day researching family history in the area. A wonderful typical English pub. We could imagine our G Grandfather standing at the bar at the end of a days work as a coachman at the big house! Very helpful regarding special dietary needs [a dairy allergy and gluten intolerance]. The food was good and so... More

We've not been here for a while so decided to treat ourselves as I couldn't be bothered to cook. As usual, the food was delicious and plentiful and this time we tested our waistlines by having 3 courses each. My husband chose from the main menu, whilst I chose my main from the specials board. - Chicken Stroganoff. Really tasty.... More

On a recent visit to Yorkshire I came here on a recommendation for lunch and it was lovely. The restaurant is nicely set out. The food was lovely. I had Sweet potato, roasted red pepper and coconut soup followed by pork belly and black pudding mash. There is a standard menu plus a specials board. The staff are great, the... More

I traveled to come here today on recommendation from a friend, there is no doubt this is a lovely pub in a gorgeous quaint village but the food was so disappointing! We asked for the menu and were given the standard one, the waitress didn't mention to us about the Sunday roast once, had we have known we would of... More

I love going out for Sunday lunch and this place is hidden gem despite how busy it gets. Great pub with a cosy atmosphere and good ales. My friend and I go here quite often and quality is always consistent. I always judge a pub roast on the meat quality, homemade roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding quality, this place ticks... More
