If your visiting Weymouth then don't get shipwrecked in any mediocre eating establishment, simply head to The Rock. A little out of the main drag, but then who wants pub chains and fast food heaven when you can enjoy something a cut above the rest. The Rock delivers on all levels with fabulous interior, a warm and friendly welcome plus... More

I went to this pub last weekend and found this very pricey for what it was. Very disapointed after seeing the reviews on trip advisor.

This is a must for anyone looking for good food, great atmosphere and somewhere with a personal touch, the service is excellent with friendly staff who make sure you feel welcome and comfortable, a great place to chill in the beer garden or join in on football or other themed nights, don't miss this little diamond 😊

Living locally we have always intended to try the carvery served at The Rock so fathers day seemed an ideal time. We booked, which is probably advisable...we booked in for the start so it was quiet when we got there. Good ales on tap to keep my hubby happy so a positive start for him. When the carvery was ready,... More

Upon a recent visit to the Rock hotel myself and a friend ordered some burger sliders, which turned out to be quite good, and a portion of nachos. The nachos had arrived at our table before both of us had. £4.99 buys a portion of nachos for one, when they arrived at the table they were with cold cheese on... More

Glad to note that you enjoyed our slider burgers, they are a very popular dish. The nacho's are also a popular sharing snack at The Rock, you chose the nacho's for one person which is served on a starter plate, the cheese is layered through the tortillas and sprinkled over the top before being placed in the oven, at 180... We were staying at a B&B along the road and couldn't believe our luck that this pub and entertainment were on our doorstep. We found the pub to be very friendly and the tribute to Bowie absolutely brilliant! We didn't eat here, but would on a future visit.
