Great food. Great location. Average service.

We were looking to have fish and chips in Weymouth and decided on this takeaway as it is in a fantastic location on the seafront. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The service was quite slow only because there was one member of staff on the takeaway side on a very busy Saturday... read more

Very good food. Not being a meat eater used often while in Weymouth, something for everyone. Very clean premises.

I popped into the takeaway side of this restaurant on the recommendation of my daughter; she'd told me that they did children's takeaway in a bucket and spade, and I wanted to check it out. As it happens I was served by the owner, and very impressed I was too. He's been there for 30 years apparently and, given the... More

We ate in on Saturday evening. My cod was lovely - delicious piece of fish. My husband had haddock which was also good. The chips were lovely, nothing was greasy. Only slight letdown was the tartare sauce which wasn't particularly good but that's hardly the end of the world. The service was friendly and our food arrived freshly cooked but... More

Only in Weymouth for the day, We had a real lovely day .... Walk, Beach, Harbour Great.... We purchased expensive Fish and Chips from Edwards on the way back to the coach no problem.... I opened my food container and noticed that my fish was actually three small off-cuts of fish fused together with a large amount of oil soaked... More

We went into this fish and chip shop at 17.30 on a Saturday night and was surprised to see that it was quite empty, but this didn't last for long by the time we ordered it was almost full, When our order came up it was absolutely spot on, nice fish and very nice chips, a lot of chips. The... More

I had the oriental fishcakes from the specials board. Very tasty, and everyone else enjoyed their meals too. I don't know if its cheaper to take away, but the although it was a decent portion, I'd expect a lot more for the money. A large cod and chips is just over a tenner. Where I come from (only about 2... More

I had a take away fish & chips which I ate on the beach opposite, and was very nice. While there, I noticed they also have a cafe for you to eat in if you like, and the sit in menu includes puddings! Staff were friendly & helpful. Prices as expected at the beach front.
