We came upon this fab little place today on a miserable drizzly day and were warmly welcombed by all the staff. Fabulous makeral bap and chips and a cup of tea in a cheery cafe - delicious and not greasy, freshly fried to just for us Really everyone who goes to Weymouth must come here as its great!

Some of the best fish and chips we've tasted. Not at all greasy and good portion. Tucked away from the main drag but all the better for it

We had cod and chips and they were just the best I had ever tasted. Chunky fish flakes with in bones or black skin that over fish shops leave on. The batter was so light it melted in your mouth. Great chips, not scraps, just lovely fresh chippies. Staff were very friendly. Definitely be going in again next time we... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal, excellent service and everyone commented on the freshness of the fish, which was cooked to order and lovely chips, not greasy!

The lady could not have been nicer; we were a family party of 14, unannounced, and she really went the extra mile to accommodate us.

In Weymouth on a day trip and as with all unknown places where you find to eat is pot luck. We got the jackpot with this place. Both had the seniors meal, which was plenty big enough. Cod, freshly cooked with lovely crisp batter and home made chips. No grease in sight. Ice cream after and a glass of wine!... More

We were passing on our way somewhere else when we passed over the Easter weekend. Although it was 3 in the afternoon, and we weren't really ready for dinner yet, we were tempted in by the poster in the window of their mackerel baps. I love a bit of mackerel, so we popped in. We had entered the takeaway part... More

We chose to eat here due to the gluten free menu. We received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb, fresh, tasty, hot and large portions. The gluten free menu was good, the rest of the menu looked great too. Will definitely return and can definitely recommend.

The Mackerel Bap was excellent, and worth the wait to try, I have never tasted such excellent battered sausages and the chips were awesome. The restaurant was clean and bright and very welcoming, the service was first class. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Wish we had this restaurant nearer us but will certainly return... More
